No matter how she looked at it in retrospect, Lisa's weekend had been really weird.

Starting with the date, that wasn't a date, or maybe was a date after all. Jennie had lied to her, for whatever reason, and Lisa had already spent way to much time trying to figure out why.

Jennie hadn't needed a date to keep her pride up over a rich girl who had turned her down. The girl probably didn't even exist. But what else could you need a date for? Had she needed a date at all, or -.

At this point, at the latest, Lisa stopped herself. She found the idea too horrifying to think about any further.
Jennie?
A date?
Willingly?
With Lisa?
Absurd enough, so Lisa immediately crossed it off her list of possibilities.

However, that had not been the only absurd thing. Rosé had also been out that weekend, Lisa had no idea with whom and where, but she suddenly had a dozen new Stuffed animals in her room. Stuffed animals that Clare wasn't supposed to know about, or so Lisa assumed.
When she'd tried to ask about them at dinner, Rosé had kicked her under the table, then pretended it was an accident.
Yes, far too conspicuous.

But even that didn't give Lisa the feeling that Rosé was hiding something from her. Only the fact that she hadn't finished her plate at dinner confirmed it in Lisa's eyes.

Of course, Rosé denied it.
She had been out with friends.
Friends whose names she didn't want to say.
And Lisa knew it wasn't Bambam or Jackson, and it wasn't Seulgi. Otherwise Rosé wouldn't have had to hide it.

The songs Rosé played on Saturday and Sunday night were also even cheesier than usual. She was supposedly practicing for the benefit concert.

Lisa still wasn't quite sure what Rosé was hiding from her, although she had a hunch.
So she decided to keep an eye on her friend on Monday.

In math, she finally sat back down with Jennie and Jisoo on their joint assignments while staring at Rosé.
Rosé, who glanced unusually often in the direction of her table, where Lisa sat together with Jisoo and Jennie, and immediately looked away again as soon as she realized that Lisa had barely taken her eyes off her.

"Lisa. Fokus!",

Jennie finally demanded gently when she realized that the younger girl hadn't even solved the first task — hadn't even tried to.

Lisa looked up, but aside from the comment, Jennie paid her no further attention. Lisa thought for a moment before finally grumbling. Then she stood up and walked over to the teacher.
She spoke quietly so as not to disturb the other students.

"Can I go to the nurse's office? I have a headache and I just can't concentrate on the assignments.",

she asked.
The teacher eyed her suspiciously, but then nodded slowly.

"Headache? Do you want someone to accompany you?"

Lisa suppressed her satisfied smile.

"Yes, can Jennie come along? Maybe I can continue the assignments when I'm feeling better, she's good at math and might be able to explain it to me if I don't understand."

To say the teacher looked surprised would have been a huge understatement, but she finally agreed.

"Jennie, why don't you accompany Lisa to the infirmary? You can continue the assignments there, when you're done just continue on the next page."

Jennie looked at Lisa in surprise and finally followed her into the hallway.

"You're sick?"

She asked, surprised, and a little concerned.
Lisa shook her head and kept walking, but as soon as they were far enough away she pulled Jennie into the empty restroom.
Jennie stared at her with wide eyes, but said nothing.
