Masyadong mabilis ang lahat. Each day passed like a whirlwind. Pagkatapos ng nangyari sa amin ni Arrow ay wala na kaming pag-uusap simula no’n.

Ano pa bang aasahan ko? That he will bend his knee asking for forgiveness? That he will run to me? Sino ba naman ako, diba? 

Bukod pa dun, hindi ko naman pwedeng lunurin ang sarili ko sa kanya? The last time I checked, nalunod ako sa pagmamahal sa kaniya. It hurts…masakit pa rin pero may magagawa pa ba ako? I will still choose to be happy. Dahil nakaya ng ibang babae na magawa iyon. 

We rose from the pain. Tatayong pa din na para bang hindi nasaktan kahapon. That’s the spirit of a woman. Boys will be boys. They can find another girl but a woman who stand for herself, for her own kind of happiness, and for her success will always be the greatest. 

Maybe, I will wait for the time that I can heal myself. Sa ngayon, I will focus my attention on the things that needed the most. Nasanay akong panay trabaho kaya kayang-kaya ko naman na gawin iyon. Nabuhay ako for 23 years na walang lalaki kaya bakit ako hahabol sa isang manloloko? I have anything I wanted.

Mali din kasi na ipilit ko ang sarili ko. Yes, I feel his pain the moment I loosened my grip on his hands. Sa buong durasyon ng relasyon namin, I feel the love, the fantasy, and the taste of having someone to commit. But, I won’t settle in a relationship who cannot feel the contentment, who cannot give the same energy I give, and who cannot see mee as his future. I won’t settle for that. 

Girls are more than that. Hindi tayo para lang lokohin. We deserve genuine love. And if, I am not destined to feel that kind of love, then at least I have my thousand millions on my hands. 

“Ma’am.” Taawag sa akin ng secretarya ko. “May you please sign this?” tinignan ko ang hawak niyang papel. This paper is about the official opening of our project pabahay. Ito yung proyektong hinawakan namin ng team ko. Finally, we are opening it!

I happily signed all the documents needed. See? There’s a lot of happy things in the way instead of drowning yourself from the heartbreak. 

The celebration will be done in 2 days today. Although, we want to know the culprit behind those massive fire problems natatabunan na ng kasiyahan ang aming dibdib. Higit sa lahat, ang mga taong naghihintay ng kanilang bagong tahanan. I am happy as an Engineer to led this project. Wala talagang imposible kapag napunta ka sa tamang team. 

I went to my team’s office. They’re eating food on the meeting room. Ginagamit namin ito exclusive for us dahil may mga plano na dapat kami lang ang nakakaalam, at para mayroon kaming matatawag na working area kaiba sa iba. 

“Iba talaga si Engineer!” Jelly greeted me. She sat beside Dave who sneered on her. 

“In two days, we will officially open the Project Pabahay.” I announced. 

They clapped in unison. Napuno ng saya ang buong meeting room. Kagaya ko ay labi-labis din ang saya nila kapag may natatapos kaming proyekto. We are the company’s ace. We led biggest projects, and had a collaboration with international engineers. Reason why we are in-demand on constructions projects. There are many projects that are lined up for us. Mga naghihintay sa amin. I got the best team, and that’s make me feel less worry. 

They cleaned their food trashes. Bawal kumain sa loob ng meeting room. Kung ano-ano pang palusot ang sinabi sa akin ni Dave tungkol sa pagdadala niya ng pagkain sa meeting room kaya siya sinundan ng mga kasama at nakikain sa dala niya. Sinabi kong linisan na lang nila ng mabuti bago pa makita ni Mang Reynaldo at pagpapaluin sila sa pwet kapag nagkalat na naman sila sa meeting room.
