Epilogue

Hello. This is Hesperantha. This is my first story that finally is completed! Ilang taon ko siyang sinulat pero ngayon ko lang natapos hahaha. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoy writing this story. Inabot ng ilang taon dahil sobrang busy sa acads and other responsibilities sa org and committee. I am planning to write this as a series but for now, wala pa akong naiisip na itatawag sa series. Also, I am planning to write another stories specifically a college stories (since nag-aaral pa din ako) and I am looking forward to set the story setting at CLSU.

“Your fans are waiting.” my manager said after getting my things in our entertainment company. I met them at the airpot and took a lot of pictures with them. But, there are some fans who cross limits and invading our privacy.


The boys are sleeping comfortably. I want to go outside and see the places I’ve been to. Kakabalik lang namin sa Pilipinas pagkatapos ng mahabang taon sa States. Our band is now famous and iconic. From our simple jamming session until we have our own stage to perform. Trully, there’s always a way to achieve your dream.


I started my car and drove in the streets in where we used to hang out. I wore my shades and cap before I stepped outside of my car. I am busy lurking around the area when a group of girls noticed me and started to chased me. Of course, I have no choice but to run!


I opened someone’s gate and walked inside of garage. The door is open so I entered hesitantly as soon as I heard my name calling from somewhere. Kung sino ‘man ang may-ari ng bahay, pasensya na po.


I closed the door and scanned the area. The inside is clean and organize. I called out but there was no response. Ten minutes then I will leave this place. Sana walang CCTV.


“Feels good.” as soon as I sat on the sofa. My body felt relaxed when my back rested and feel the ambiance of the house. I don’t like to prolong my stay here but I heard noises outside. Seems like they still haunting me, huh?


“Sino ka?” my eyes automatically opened when I heard a nervous but melody voice in my back. The girl hold some kind of metal while angrily stared at me. Her eyes are beautiful. It’ like a fairy in front of me.


He was about to spanked me with her metal when I spoke. “I’m no harm miss.” her nose scrunched. Ang mga mata ay alinlangan pang tumingin sa akin. And that’s the day, I barged into the woman of my life. Everytime her eyes squinted and rolled at me, I feel the lucky man alive.


My knees felt weak when she gave me stares that I can’t hold. Kusang napapaiwas ang mga mata ko at napapahanga kapag sinusundan niya iyon ng ngiti.


“Here. My eggplant.” I teased her to see her reaction. Siniringan lang ako nito. She wants me out of her life. She wants me to rent some condo or hotel to stay but I don’t. There’s something in her that I can’t think of. Hindi matanggap ng sistema ko kung lulubayan ko siya.


Oh! She’s an Engineer. An Engineer! Wow!


Tanggal angas mo, boy!

That’s my reaction when I finally had her information. An Engineer but a woman? Just wow! Mas lalong tumaas ang paghanga ko sa kanya when I saw how dedicated she is. Hanggang sa nasanay na lang siya sa akin. I become her cook. Madalang pala itong magluto at bumibili na lang sa labas pagkatapos ng trabaho.


Hindi kita gugutumin, Elle.


I searched her workplace at nang malamang tagapagmana pala siya ng kompanya nila ay doon mas lalong tumaas ang respeto ko sa kanya. She’s a heir but she choose to live in this house with a small garage, yard, and to think she’s living alone without helper. Kahit na maayos naman talaga ang bahay ko ay kinuha ko siya para i-renovate ito.


Why not? Doon ko din naman siya ititira.


She’s kind. No’ng una lang mukhang mataray. She build a wall so that others cannot cross her life. She only have one friend. Pero tumaas talaga ang dugo ko ng makitang may gusto pa yata ang katrabaho niya sa kanya like what the f*ck!


I punched the guy on his face. I surely all my strength is released on that punch. How dare him to go near my Elle?! Isang sapak pa sana ng matauhan!


“Stop!” Elle yelled us. Her eyes are burning red. God, she’s so hot! I composed myself and pulled her until I found myself caressing her body. I kissed her red lips deeply that no man can ever taste her. But then, I have a high respect on this woman.


I pursued her. Showered her with my love. I never thought I will be like this. The great singer who has high ambitions and confidence is now on his knees not wanting to leave her side.


“’yun lang naman. You will court her and make her fall in love with you! And when you notice that she’s in a highest peak then leave her!” Eunice convinced me with her plans. I don’t know what she’s doing here and telling me this. ‘ginagawa ng babaeng ‘to?


I plugged my earphone on and listen to our music. It was a minus one and I am practicing my lines. I made her believed that I am listening to her na hindi ko na sana ginawa. I hope I choose the time in where I can directly tell to her to stop because in one blink…our loves is now falling apart.


“Hush, baby.” I calmed her as she cried my arms nonstop. She doesn’t have a fault. I knew from the start who is the culprit but I never even tell a single information because I am hoping that she will be cured. I am hoping for Eunice’s medication.


“Let’s stop this.” a bomb in my head. My fingers are trembling. Halos mawalan ako ng balanse ng marinig sa kanya iyon. I can’t. I can’t, love. Please…


“Love…” napayuko ako at inihanda ang sarili na magpaliwanag sa kanya.


“You may now go. Leave.” F*ck! F*ck!


She said many things that I couldn’t understand o mas tamang sabihing hindi ko na lang pinansin. All I know is that she wants us to separate. I want to wipe her tears but I also want her to hear my side.


“No. Ayoko. Love…”  he cupped my face. ““Let’s end this. Hindi dahil wala ng pag-asang meron pa sa atin kundi mas makakabuti na ito muna ang mangyari. See? Hindi na natin makuhang unawain pa ang isa’t-isa. Hindi ito yung relasyon na pinangarap ko habang kasama ka. Remember your promise? We will keep that. I will be always on your side no matter what. Pero pwede bang wag muna ngayon? Pwede bang kapag naayos na natin ang lahat?...kasi nasasaktan na din ako sa mga paraan mo. It will be good if we choose to fix the problem on our own way. Baka kasi nakakasagabal na tayo sa isa’t-isa? Baka kasi sa sobrang pagmamahal natin hindi na natin makuhang tignan kung ano yung mas tamang gawin. Y-Yung mas nararapat na gawin.”


I will not accept that d*mn reason! Ayoko! We will continue what we have. Pagsubok lang ito.


He guided me on the door. Ganito na lang ba? Cannot she hold me anymore? How about me? Did she choose first to---


“H-how can you decide for the both of us?” my voice broke. I saw how she wanted this. She just slipped me away ng ganon-ganon lang!


Love…


I uttered in my head as I drove my car cryingly. Hindi maubos-ubos ang luha ko habang nagmamaneho. I slightly bumped someone’s car but I didn’t mind. I heard their curses but I’m too much clouded and broken.


Umalis ako sa bansa ng hindi man lang nakakapagpaliwanag sa kanya. If she knew how much I wanted her to tighten his grip while I am resolving the problem. F*cking Eunice! D*mn that woman! Hanggang ngayon ay nandidiri pa din ako sa tuwing maiisip ang ginawa niya. How her skin glided on mine?! The h*ck I will want her!


I want to grip her neck for hurting my girl. I want to rip her into tiny pieces for making my girl cry! Naiiyak ako ng malaman ang ginawa niyang pananakit kay Elle. I left the country not to lose all my hope but I will surely get my girl again when I’m back. If she wants us to heal first, then be it. Little did she know, I am planning to get her back again.


“T*nga mo kasi ehh!” Kier smacked my shoulder with full strength. “Wala ‘to! Sabi na kasing ganito gawin mo, hindi ka nakikinig!” sigaw niya sa akin at inismiran ako.


“Wag mo nga akong sinisigawan!” ganti ko sa kanya kahit na magkatabi lang kaming nakaupo sa sofa. Napangaga ako sa kanya when he explained his plans in communicating Elle through him.


“Tapos, ganito…makinig ka kasi!” iritado niyang hinawakan ang ulo at inis na humarap sa akin. Sinapak niya ako habang nauubusan ng pasensya sa akin kapapaliwanag. I giggled at him secretly. Tawang-tawa ako kapag ganito siyang nagsusungit at nagagalit.


“Kids!”saway sa amin ni Hercules ng dumaan siya sa harap namin hawak ang kape nito.


We heard Aelius sighed beside us. Siya lang itong nakakaintindi ng pinapanood namin. Tahinmik at hindi umiimik sa amin. He massaged his temple and covered his ears. “T*ng-ina nito! Ambag mo naman, boy!” kantyaw sa kanya ni Kier mula sa gilid ko.


I am in the middle. Dalawa silang nasa gilid ko. I saw Aelius raised his eyebrows. Siniko ko si Kier dahil kinakawawa na naman niya ang bunso namin. Hayyy! Buti pa ako, ako na lang ang matino sa amin.


He’s calling Elle! Kausap niya ang bebe ko!


I was excited. Gustong-gusto ko na siyang makita but Kier told me to wait. Nagkukunwari pa ang g*go na nag-aayos ng buhok niya sa harap ng camera pero sinisignalan akong mamaya na umextra sa pag-uusap nila. Para daw hindi mabigla si Elle.


Binibitin niya na lang ako eh! Bumabawi ang loko!


Noong isang araw pa niya sinasabi na ‘wag muna akong magpakita at dadahan-dahanin muna. Kasi kung sa una pa lang ng video call nila ay nagpakita na agad ako, baka sa mga susunod pa ay hindi na sagutin ni Elle ang pag-vi-video-call niya.


I am readying myself when he signaled me to come up. He is talking with Elle and secretly showing his finger to come me and be an extra on the screen. Lumapit siya sa camera at nag-side view para daw makuha ako ng buo sa camera. Sh*t! I didn’t even know what was I did on his back! Kumuha ba ako ng kape o uminom? I was too clouded.


But, when I saw her. My lovely Elle. Oh, my heart…


Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko ng makalagpas ako sa harap ng camera at sa likod ni Kier. My knees felt weak, literally. Napahawak ako sa gilid ng lamesa at doon kumuha ng lakas. Tawang-tawa sa akin si Kier while Aelius stopping his self from smiling.


Nginingisihan ako ng dalawa.


Hintayin niyo lang ‘yung inyo. Tatawanin ko din kayo!


Hindi ko na namalayan ang panahon. All I did was to make songs and plan how to get her again. Sisiguraduhin kong mas sisikat pa ang banda ng sa gayon ay hindi niya ako makakalimutan at araw-araw na maririnig. And when I had a chance to go back in the Philippines, I prioritized to visit their hacienda. I contacted her Lolo, of course I was frightened. I accepted his words and conditions.


“All I want is my apo’s happiness. If she doesn’t like you back again, then leave.” he said manly. I shoot my chance again. I visited their hacienda and helped his Lolo in their farm. Kahit hindi sanay sa bukid ay pilit kong matutunan ang mga gawain dito. Masaya naman pala.


It is peaceful. Now I know why other’s tell that province’s life hits different. Here, you can experience pure and peaceful life. It may have problems but not that so exhausted like when we are in the city. People are so good. I experienced how to plant rice, how to operate a machine, how to feed animals, and the province life I didn’t expected to lived.


My friends came. Nadagdagan ang hiya ko ng dumating sila. Kaya para hindi manggulo sa mansion nila ay sinasama ko ang mga kaibigan sa bukid. Na labis kong ikinatutuwa kapag lumulukot ang mga mukha nila.


“Sh*t!” Kier cursed when he stepped in a carabao poops. They laughed at him. Nakabawi lang ang una ng makitang nagkandatala-talapid ang dalawa sa pagsakay sa kalabaw. I groaned. Sinong mag-aakala na ang sikat na banda ay narito sa gitna ng bukid at dinaig pa ang mga trabahador sa pagpapakitang-gilas?


They drove a four wheel tractor. Natutunan din naman nila sa ilang beses na turuan. We spent those days like we didn’t have a responsibility in the city and an image to care. It was one of the best days in our life. We appreciate the life we have upon experiencing those difficulties.


“Hot.” I whispered when I saw my girl hopped down on her horse. I raised my brows in amusement when she rolled her eyes at me. I will sure that the next time she do that is she will be screaming in pleasure and want me to go harder on her.


The boys met Hachi. Habang mas lumalaki ay nagiging kamukha ito ni Kier. I tapped my friend’s shoulder when I knew how serious he is to find Hachi’s mother. Sinapak namin ang isa’t-isa ng malamang may anak siya. Pero mas malala ng si Hercules na ang sumapak sa kanya!


I laughed at him loudly. He mouthed his curses but who cares. Mahalaga ay ako na ang tumatawa sa kanya ngayon.


Happiness ran in my systems when Lean and I are back together. I am gentle on her in our first. My head went crazy when I heard he called and moaned my name desirably. We explored each other. Natututo na ang baby ko. She learned how to nibble my ear, kiss my neck, and go down deeper in my sword. Kitang napaka-virgin ko pa eh! Ang wild.


“What?” she asked curiously in the middle of our love making. Umiling ako sa kanya at hinaplos pa ang kanyang buhok. She smiled and continue bringing me in the heaven. When I knew she’s pregnant ay dumalas na ang ganito. My mouth hanged open when she goes deeply.


Her cravings becomes more inviting. Mas hindi naman ako tatanggi! Gwapong-gwapo ako kapag ganito siya kagutom sa akin. I will not stop you, love. Eat me all you want!


Pero nawala talaga angas ko ng kasal namin. Prinaktis ko talaga na hindi umiyak kasi naghihiwalay daw kapag iyak ng iyak ang lalaki. Pero kusa na lang talagang lumabas ang mga luha ko ng makita ko siyang naglalakad papunta sa akin sa altar. God, she’s so beautiful!


Sinamaan ako ng tingin ni Kier at Aelius ng makitang humahagulgol na ako. They tapped my shoulder with force while cursing me. Hercules warned us but we are unstoppable. Sa huli ay ipinakita na lang niya ang kamao sa amin at doon lang kami natigil.


“Pfft.” inis akong bumaling sa mga kaibigan ng marinig ang mahina nilang tawa sa gilid ko. Elle is now giving birth to our first born. Nanghihina na ako dito habang nakaupo at pinapaypayan ng Abuela niya habang ang mga lalaki naman ay tuwang-tuwa sa kalagayan ko.


I saw Hercules turned his back to us to stop his self from laughing. Ngingiti-ngiti ang mga kasama namin sa akin habang ako ay kanina pa namumula at halos panawan na ng ulirat dito. How dare them?!


“Wag ko lang kayong makitang hahawak-hawak sa anak ko! Sasapukin ko talaga kayo, isa-isa!” banta ko sa kanila. Her Abuela is wiping my sweat off. Maski ang matanda ay hindi maiwasang matawa sa akin. I let a deep breath. Lord, keep my family safe.


“Woah! Ang lupet ng mukha, boy!” Kier said while looking at my child. Walang isang minuto ko pa itong tinititigan ng sumulpot ang tatlong mga ungas. Tinulak ko sila at sinamaan ng tingin. Hindi ko na makita ang anak ko dahil tinabunan na nila ako!


I cried silently just by watching my son. How can this angel be this so cute just by sleeping and yawning in his crib? Panigurado kay Elle nagmana ito. Hindi ako ganito no’ng baby ako, ehhh!


“Hindi ko talaga kayo gagawing mga ninong! Sasama ng ugali niyo. Baka kung ano lang ituro niyo sa anak ko!”


“Hiya naman kami sa tatay.”


“I hope the kid will grow in Elle’s guidance.”

“Kapag ganito kaga-gawapo ang lumalabas, dapat dinadamihan pa, love.” hirit ko sa asawa ng makitang hinehele nito ang anak namin. Kinurot niya ako ng maibaba niya si Delle sa crib nito.


“Tigil-tigilan mo’ko, Arrow at kakapanganak ko pa lang!” a hot-headed wife is my excitement. Nawawala naman kasi ang init nito ng ulo kapag nakikita ang gwapo kong mukha. “Sus!” she rolled her eyes at me.


Lumapit ako sa kanya at niyakap siya habang nakatingin sa natutulog naming anak. “Thank you, love.” I kissed her cheeks. “I will be the best father and husband in our family. Iingatan at aalagaan ko kayo.” I sobbed in her neck as I whispered my feelings. I will not let anyone hurt my family. No one can take away from me this love. Habambuhay ko silang pagsisilbihan.


Elle, my love. Hinding-hindi ako aalis sa tabi mo. Babalik at babalik pa rin sayo kahit na ipagtulakan mo pa ako. I will give you the family you want, the life you want, and the haven you want. I will never get tired of waking up next to you every morning. Spending my forever with you is all I want to happen.


Sayo at sayo lang talaga ang uwi ko.


One thing is for sure, leaving my family is not a choice. It will never be.
