Thursday
~ Woozi's POV ~
Being a vocalist, unit-leader and producer for one of the biggest K-pop bands isn't an easy thing, anyone would tell you that. But the thing is, I never thought I would be under so much stress while doing the thing I love the most: making music.
Periodically, especially when we just finish promoting a new album, I get a huge wave of anxiety, a pressure to get to work as soon as possible, so we won't keep the fans waiting for long. This is what's happening to me now.
When I get this feeling, I usually retreat to my studio, lock myself in, usually for days, and I won't let myself leave until I'm satisfied with my work.
That's the plan for this weekend: we don't have any schedules planned from Friday till Sunday, as we just got back from an exhausting world tour. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to get some work done. If I leave Thursday afternoon, I'd have 3 whole days just for myself.
- Hey, guys? – I looked into the living room, where the majority of my team was lounging. – I'm leaving to my studio for the weekend. I'll be ordering myself food; you don't have to worry about that at all. Please don't call me, I don't want to be interrupted this time. See you on Sunday!
- Stop right there! – I heard our leader's voice. – I know how much you want to get back to creating, but we just got back home! Get some rest, don't overwork yourself! Sit down, you can choose the next film.
- Ah, Seungcheol, you know well, that I won't do that. If I work hard for 3 days, I'll be saving us so much work later on. I'm not even tired.
- Please, for me. – He pleaded. – These little retreats to your studio never end well. You'll push past your limits again, and then blame yourself for taking so long to recover...
- I can take care of myself. – I was growing tired of the others always worrying about me, instead of letting me work in my own pace. – See you soon.
And with that, I called our driver, and was at my studio in no time.

As Jihun left, I exchanged anxious and worried looks with some of my members. We all knew, that he will most likely not eat, sleep or even drink water for days, and when he gets home, he will sleep for a day, and then probably develop a fever. I shook my head in defeat: I didn't know what else I could do to convince him that rest is just as important as hard work.
- Is everything okay? The atmosphere here is awful. – Seungkwan walked in, with a glass of americano.
- Jihun left for the weekend, for the studio, and we're a bit worried for him. – Jun answered.
- Aish, again? If he continues like this, it won't end well.
- I know. But I don't think, anyone could convince him. Let's leave him, and hopefully he will really take care this time. – I sighed. The others nodded, and resumed watching the film.
Friday
~ Woozi's POV ~
I've officially spent 24 hours at the studio now. I managed to record 2 demos, and write a new song as well. But I still wasn't satisfied: last time, I did double the amount of work in 24 hours.
My studio looked a mess today: crumpled papers everywhere, empty coke bottles on the floor, and it was freezing too. I like having the AC on, it's voice gives a nice background noise, and I'm more productive in the cold anyways.
I decided to not order dinner, again, as it seemed like a waste of time, that could be spent on composing and writing. I sighed, and reached for my water bottle.
