~ Jun's POV ~

Being an idol means you have to give up the majority of your personal space and privacy. We all knew that when we joined Seventeen, it was no surprise, when a hoard of photographers and journalists started following us after we started doing well.

I'm used to it by now. I know when to pose, I know when to ignore them. I know which reporter is for which news outlet, and I always pose for each camera for a couple of seconds.

But sometimes, I wish they would disappear. And today was a day like that.

We just returned from Australia, from the closing night of our world tour. We were all full of memories and experiences, but also very exhausted. So when we landed, none of us was looking forward to the cameras.

We got our bags, checked that everything was here, and then headed over to the reporters. We got into a line, I was next to Mingyu and Seungcheol, faced the cameras and began waving.

People were shouting questions at us, the sounds and lights of the cameras were way too overbearing, and I found myself covering my eyes with my hands.

- Jun, just a few more minutes. - Cheol whispered to me, and I felt the agitation in his voice. I tried my best to look happy and normal, but I just couldn't keep the facade up for long.

Soon again, I had to hung my head in order not to show my tears. All I wanted to do was to go home and sleep, but I had to stand here, waving at cameras, smiling.

I slowly felt my eyes getting heavier and my knees weaker, and in a matter of seconds, I had to hold onto Mingyu in order not to fall down. I was clinging onto his shoulder, trying my best not to pass out.

- Yah, what are you doing? - He asked, but I couldn't give an answer. My throat was dry and achy, and I had chills going down my back. I was breaking out in cold sweat.

- Junhui, what's going on? Are you okay? - Cheol asked me, while the others still posed for the pictures. I reached out to him, and he took my hand. - Are you sick? Your skin is so hot and clammy...

- I'm not feeling well... - I finally managed to murmur, but that was obvious. Seungcheol was now holding me by my elbows and hands, while Mingyu supported me from the back.

- I can see that. Are you dizzy or anything?

- Yeah... - I felt my body weighing a thousand pounds and I felt my eyelids slowly closing. I didn't want to faint, but it felt like that would be my fate.

- Hey, it's okay, Jun. Can you hear me? - I barely heard Cheol's voice, everything sort of began sounding the same. I felt him grabbing my shoulders and slightly shaking me, but it was no use.

I desperately tried to stay awake, but my body was working against me. The last thing I heard were yells, and my head being placed onto something soft.

It was all too much for me. I let my consciousness slip away.

~ Mingyu's POV ~

None of us were exactly in good shape, when we arrived, but I saw Jun looking a lot paler and sicker than usual. I stood next to him while the reporters took their pictures, and my worries came true, when I felt his hands grabbing mine.

- Yah, what are you doing? - His touch took me by surprise, and when I turned to him, I saw the tears on his face. I quickly alerted Seungcheol, and handed the sick boy over, while I got a manager to help us.

As we got back, I saw Jun's knees buckle under him, and when his body went limp, I knew the situation was not good. We quickly laid him down, and I bunched my jacket up, so his head wouldn't be on the ground.

- Is he okay? - Jihoon asked, and we all shook our heads. - What happened?

- He just fainted, I don't know why. Is he sick or something? - Cheol wondered, but we didn't have any answers. I knew we had to get him home, and find out what happened. With the help of Cheol, I lifted Jun, and carried him into our van.

We laid him down on the back seats, then I joined him and took his head onto my lap. The color started returning to his face and after a few minutes, his eyes opened a bit.

~ Jun's POV ~
When I opened my eyes, I saw the ceiling of our car. I was confused for a few seconds, then heard a voice.

- How are you, hyung? - It was Mingyu. He was holding my hand and my head was on his lap. I didn't know what to answer, so I just slightly shook my head. - Do you remember what happened? You passed out.

Memories were coming back to me. I remembered being at the airport and being very tired and stressed out. My head started hurting, so instead of thinking more, I closed my eyes again.

Finally, some sleep.

~

I woke up in a familiar setting. I was in my own bed, surrounded by pillows. I lifted my head, and was faced with a half-asleep Seungcheol.

- Hyung? - It hurt to speak, and I immediately started coughing. In a few seconds, it turned into a coughing fit, where I couldn't stop.

- Oh my god, Jun, are you okay? - I heard, and then someone was caressing my back. I was handed a small glass of water, and after a few sips, I was back to normal. Well, as normal as I could be.

I laid back on the bed, and took nice, deep breaths. Cheol was holding my hand and playing with my hair. After a few minutes of rest, I finally had the strength to ask: what happened?

- You fainted in the airport, don't you remember? - I carefully shook my head. - You didn't look that sick or anything, so it was very scary to just see you go unconscious like that. A doctor was here too, and he said that it happened because you were tired and dehydrated.

Everything started making sense now. I couldn't sleep for the past few days, and during the flight, I didn't drink anything. What a stupid mistake.

- Are you feeling any better?

- Yeah, a bit. I'm just very tired...

- That's not a surprise, I'll let you sleep then. Do you want me to stay here with you?

I nodded, and closed my eyes. It wasn't long before I felt a wave of fatigue wash over my body, and I gladly gave in. I was happy that our tour was a success, but now...

It was time to rest.
