~ Jimin's POV ~

I knew when I debuted, that being an idol meant that sometimes you had to ignore your own needs and wants, and follow the schedule. Even through sickness and sadness, we had to stay on track.

I have been running a high fever for the past few days, and I have been feeling sicker and sicker every minute. I took every medication known to man, but nothing brought it down. I knew that our schedule didn't allow me to rest and recover, so I just have to push through it.

Today I woke up drenched in sweat, breathing heavy and confused. It took me a few minutes to regulate myself, then I got out of bed. I didn't have an appetite, so I decided to skip breakfast. Instead, I took a cold shower, which felt nice for a bit. I got dressed, and joined the others in the living room.

- How are you feeling, Jiminie? – Hoseok asked, pulling me into a soft hug. I buried my face into his chest, and just sighed. He understood. I felt myself being pulled back into sleep, when our manager arrived to explain today's activities.

- First, you will head into the studio, you'll take the annual company pictures. Then, a pre-recording for an award show. And lastly, you'll have an interview with Teen Vogue. Sounds good? Then let's go. – I was barely awake, so I immediately forgot what he said. I let Hoseok help me to our van, and fell asleep during the way.

- Come on, Jimin, we need to hurry. – Yoongi's voice woke me up, he was looking at me sympathetically. I took his hand, and he almost had to carry me into the company building. In the dance studio, hair stylists and designers were waiting for us, as well as the photographer and her assistants. I was pushed into a high chair, and at least three people surrounded me with hair brushes, eyeshadow palettes and beauty sponges.

It was all so overwhelming. They were touching me, I was hot all over, and they kept complaining about my excessive sweating.

- I have a fever. – I explained weakly, but they didn't care. Someone showed an outfit into my hands, and I found myself in a changing room, finally alone. I almost collapsed to the ground, breathing faster and faster, the room was spinning around me. I felt I would faint, but I tried to hold on.

- Hyung, are you okay? – A familiar voice snapped me out of this state, and as I looked up, I was met with our maknae's worried eyes. He pulled me up to the small chair, and helped me change. An assistant brought a small fan to me, the weak breeze felt good. It was better than nothing.

- Park Jimin, you're up next! – I made my way to the photographer, who directed me in front of the beige backdrop. I sat down, and turned towards them.

- Look serious. – I heard. I nodded, and looked into the camera. The flashed hurt my head, but my body was slowly becoming numb, so it didn't bother me so much. I sat there for five minutes, then we were done.

On the way to the pre-recording, I slowly realized, that I couldn't hold on much longer. I was constantly sweating, shaking and I felt like I was hot and cold at the same time. I was terribly dehydrated, sleep-deprived, and overall very ill. My members tried their best helping me, but even they knew: something's gotta give.

Somehow, I got through the makeup and dressing process without any problems, except the constant dizziness and confusion. We went through the choreography and music one last time, then it was showtime. I stood on the stage, lights blinding me.

When the music started, my body moved on its own. We were already halfway through the first dance, when my mind caught up. Reality hit me suddenly, and I stumbled out of the formation. I almost fell, but stopped myself with my hands in the last second.
