~ Sunoo's POV ~

I loved being in Enhypen. Of course, there have been hard and trying times, but overall, it's the best thing that happened to me, ever. I got to meet with new people, travel to new countries, and impact many lives. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Sadly, I temporarily had to put a halt to my idol life, as I caught COVID, and had to be quarantined for 14 days. I couldn't see the others, couldn't practice my singing or dancing, and wasn't even allowed on social media. So, after those 2 weeks, it was safe to say, that I was over the moon, when I got to attend an award ceremony.

- Here's your timetable for the event. It's very important, that we keep ourselves to this, as there will be many more idols and groups there too. Your outfits will be here tomorrow, and you'll have to get dressed at home, we won't have time for it at the venue. It will be around 5-6 hours, so food won't be provided, but water will be at your tables. I don't think I need to explain, how you should behave, you guys have some experience at this point. – We were quietly sitting in a meeting, while our manager explained tomorrow's events. – You guys will be seated in the back, between Seventeen and TXT, behind Le Sserafim, and in front of fromis_9, so in the HYBE sector. A small change has been made though: the red carpet, and the seating area will be outside, as to not put so many people in an enclosed space, many idols have been getting COVID lately. Of course, there will be blankets and heaters around.

I didn't even start to think about the potential dangers from being outside in the middle of winter, I was just excited to finally be able to rejoin activities with my group. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.

~ Jungwon's POV ~

We were all very excited to attend and perform at the award ceremony, and it was extra special, because Sunoo got to join us after 2 weeks. The only thing that was worrisome, was the outside venue. I tried to talk to our manager about that, but it was already decided and paid for: I could only hope, that we were getting some warm clothes for the event.

My hopes would be crushed the next day.

- Seriously? We will be sitting for hours outside, and we can't even wear coats? – Heeseung was just as disappointed as I was. Our outfits looked awesome, there's no denying that, but they were more suitable for spring, than for winter. We were wearing different, pastel colored, see-through button-downs, beige colored, flared pants, and black platform boots.

- I know, guys, it's not ideal, but we need to keep an image, yes? You will be fine, you can grab a blanket in the venue anyways.

I was getting more and more annoyed; our image and reputation were placed before our well-being once again. After changing, we were whisked away into the van, and we arrived at the venue in no time. Stepping on the red carpet, I could hear every member holding their breath, or coughing a bit from the cold. I exchanged some worried looks with Jake, but there was nothing we could do. We had to push through this.

~ Sunoo's POV ~

Our outfits were very cool, very much my style. I was happy with them, until Jungwon pointed out the obvious: these will do nothing to keep us warm. I tried my best staying positive, and echoing our manager's words: we will get blankets, and there will be heaters. But internally, I was worried too.

Arriving at the red carpet, I didn't even step outside of the van, when the cold wind hit me at full force. I audibly gasped, as the freezing air burned my lungs, and took my breath away. I immediately began shivering, but had to pull myself together, I couldn't let my discomfort show in front of tons of cameras.

After every member joined us at the carpet, we stood in front of the cameras, and they started taking pictures. We waved, smiled, were serious, did some funny poses too, and during this, I could feel the others shivering too. After what felt like hours, we were finally led off, and backstage.
