~ Chan's POV ~

As the leader of Stray Kids, I don't really have room for errors, and that includes injuries and illnesses. Although all of us are under enormous pressure, I have to lead the group, I have to set an example, I have to be everywhere and pay attention to everything, always. This often leads to tiredness, and I tend to overwork myself quite a bit. I don't want to be a disappointment.

We were right in the middle of our comeback promotions, when I first felt signs of my body being overworked. I got tired much faster, my reflexes were awful, and I experienced brain fog all the time. I hoped the others didn't notice, I tried to keep it to myself as much as possible.

We had two days free from any activities, so we had to choreograph a special stage for an upcoming awards show. This meant, that we had to start rehearsals at 5:30 am, and finish around 8:00 pm, so we could have more time to remember new formations, and include a dance break too.

We were all at our breaking points, but there was no other choice, but to push forward. We all had to do our very best, since Jisung was ill, and had to probably miss this performance.

- Chan, be a leader, and catch up! You're dragging your feet, and you're like two counts late! Get it together, man! – our dance instructor was strict, but we needed that right now, there was no time for mistakes.

- Take five, everyone. Jisung, you can go wash your face, and sit down for a few minutes. Chan, can I have a word with you? – I made my way to the instructor.

- You look like a mess right now, what's happening with you? I know Jisung is sick, but is there something going on with you too? – I appreciated his concern, but I didn't have the right to be ill. Not this time anyways.

- I'm just tired, but thanks for checking up on me. I'll go get Han. – And I booked it to the nearest bathroom. I ran right past Jisung, who just returned. Bringing him back was just an excuse, in reality I was nauseous, and didn't want to throw up in front of the others.

I got to the bathrooms just in time, and collapsed in front of the nearest toilet.

~ Jisung's POV ~

This past week was hard on me: I was fatigued, anxious, and lately, have started running a low fever too. I informed our managers, who decided, that I can't miss activities, but I could probably sit the special stage out. I wasn't happy, I wanted to perform, but physically, I couldn't.

After the first half of the practice, I felt like I just ran two marathons. I was laying on the floor, when Minho pulled me up. He helped me to the bathroom, where I could catch my breath, and wash my face.

- How are you feeling? Any better? – His voice sounded worried.

- Yeah, all better now. I think I'm just a bit overworked, but I'll be fine. Let's go back. – As we left the restroom, Chan ran right past us, and closed the bathroom door behind him.

- What's his deal? – Minho asked, but I was too tired to care. We joined the others in the studio, and started going over small details, while waiting for Chan.

After 5 minutes, he was still missing, and we were all getting a bit worried.

- Would someone get him? We really don't have time for this, we could've choreographed the next two eight counts. – Hyunjin remarked. Felix nodded, and left the room.

- I really don't understand him, he said he was fine, he should know not to waste precious rehearsal time. – The instructor mumbled, and Hyunjin agreed. We were all waiting for the two aussies to return, and as time passed, I started getting a bad feeling.
