~ Riki's POV ~
- All I'm saying, hyung, is that next time maybe order it closer! And then, maybe we don't have to use the car, and can walk to your package! – I was accompanying Jay on a car ride to pick up a package he ordered. We were in the middle of an argument about the excessive usage of our cars.
- We have cars for a reason, Riki! And I'd rather drive longer, that to have people discover our address! Is this really that hard to understand, oh my god! – He was getting angrier by the second, and when he gets angry, he gets scary. He started driving faster and faster...
- Okay, hyung, slow down, you'll get us killed! Slow down, stop! – I screamed, but he had no intention on slowing down. He was filled with rage, he was punishing me. – Hyung, please, I'm sorry, you're right! You're scaring me!
He finally listened, and slowed down a bit. We were still way over the speed limit, but at least now I felt safer. After about two minutes of silence, he pulled over. We were next to huge fields of wheat and corn.
- Don't ever do that again... - I whispered, shaking. I got out of the car, and took a few steps back. He looked at me, still fuming with anger.
-. You really got on my nerves, telling me what to do. I know better, I'm older. If you order a package next time, I won't drive you, that's for sure. You want to walk? Here you go. – And without hesitation, he stepped on the gas, and...
Left me. Alone, in the middle of the field.
- Jay! – I shouted. This had to be a prank, he wouldn't leave me here, right? Right?
I watched, as his car disappeared after a curve in the road. I waited for a few minutes for his return, but he didn't. He really left me here...
- That son of a bitch... - I muttered, and reached for my phone to call a taxi. It wasn't in my pocket. It wasn't in my jacket. A desperately padded myself down, before coming to terms with the fact, that I left in in the car.
The realization, that I was truly alone, without the chance to call for help, hit me like a truck. I sat down ne to the road, and just cried. I felt lost, helpless and cold. After a few minutes, I raised my head, I was ready to come up with a plan.
A drop of water fell on the concrete before me. Then another one. And another one.
In the few minutes, that I spent crying, clouds formed over me, and now, a rainstorm was approaching. I just stood there, appalled. As if my situation couldn't get worse...
But I didn't have time to ponder about my misery, I had to get going if I wanted to arrive home before sunset.
~ Heeseung's POV ~
Jay and Riki have been gone for a long time, and I was getting worried. Just as I picked up the phone to call them, I heard the entrance door open, and soon enough, Jay was standing in the living room.
- Finally, I was getting worried! How was the ride? Where's Riki? – He looked at me with regret and sadness in his eyes. I immediately got up, I felt something was wrong.
- I, umm... I left him on the side of the road. – He murmured, and I had to lean closer to actually hear. – Riki. We got into a fight, and I left without him...
- Are you kidding me? He's still in the car, it's just a prank, right? You wouldn't actually leave him... - He looked as serious as ever, and I realized: this wasn't a joke. – Holy shit, Jay, that's fucked up... We got to get him, there's a storm coming! Start the car, I'll get the others! – He left the room, and I ran to Sunghoon and Jungwon's room. I couldn't believe this.
