The next morning Hawks woke up in an empty bed, staring into the blinding sun right outside his window front. The morning sun bathed him in a warm glow.

He turned to the left and groaned in pain, now noticing the discomfort in his lower regions. With one look around his room he saw the clothes that had been thrown around in their passionate lovemaking yesterday. Passionate? Yes, but also very agressive.

Remember when Dabi said he wasn't going to let him adjust? He meant it. Goddamn he meant it.

"Finally awake babybird?" Hawks snapped his head around once more, now seeing Dabi standing in his doorframe. In his clothes and wet hair. Oh god, it really did happen. He had no idea what to respond and just stares at the villain, who was also just staring back. Dabi slips a chuckle and steps into the room.

"Took a shower and stole some of your clothes, 'm still still a bad guy remember?" Now Hawks was the one to laugh, he smiles and hides it behind his one hand. He then says "Ah right, the dangerous and feared villain who showered me with kisses last night."

Dabi would have blushed if he could, but he just rolls his eyes. Hawks meanwhile scooched to the end of the bed and sat up, now directly in front of Dabi. They knew what they had done would have consequences, for both sides.

But who cares? At least not them.

"I'll leave now, you better forget about this quickly babybird." Dabi reached out to give Hawks a pat on his head, but pulled back. He already opened up too much and now he had to restrain himself from showing anymore affection. He wasn't an affectionate guy anyway, only now he realised that Hawks was the only person he has ever kissed this eagerly.

But it didn't mean anything, he doesn't like Hawks. At least that's what he's trying to convince himself.

Sure kissing was a part of sex, he has never kissed someone this much and enjoyed it. Shut up already, I don't like him. Dabi thought.

Now Hawks shoots up a smile at him. "I won't, in fact I'll always remember it stupid guy." He rubs his face to wake up a little and pulls the blanket closer, trying to cover some of his dignity. There was nothing the other hadn't seen but it was natural to try and cover up.

Dabi sighs and goes to pick up his clothes from the ground, it was hard leaving now. He had to and he knew it, but why does it make his chest tighten and his heart ache? He didn't want to stay, he didn't like Hawks! This blondie is going to be the death of me, damnit.

His thoughts rambled on and on until he heard the sheets rustle, he looked over his shoulder and caught a glance of Hawks slipping into a new pair of boxers and pants. He bit the inside of his cheek looking at the sight of Hawks muscular back and his breathtaking wings. Yesterday must have been an easy patrol because his wings were as big as ever.

"have i ever told you how impressive and pretty your wings are."

As soon as those words left his mouth, he grit his teeth and promptly turned away from Hawks. Why the hell did i say that, a villain doesn't say this bullshit. Luckily the Hero took it well, a little too well actually. He laughs at Dabi, hiding the sheer amount of nervousness and goofy feelings flooding his body. "Actually, so far you've only told me how you wanted to murder me or somethin'."

Hawks found it funny how Dabi was staring at the wall in order to play it off. Very out of character. "But i wouldn't mind hearing more of this, thank you."

When the hero was done dressing himself he walked up to Dabi, poking his back trying to get his attention. "I won't ever say something like this again, don't get used to it. The final battle is only a few days away and I'm not going to go easy on you and your hero frie-"

Dabi interrupted himself, now realising what stupid mistake he had done.

Hawks almost didn't get it, but as soon as he repeated the words in his mind it was as clear as day. Dabi had slipped up and revealed crucial informaton to him. "Oh, in a few days hm?"

But what would happen now?

The villain exhaled loudly and snapped around, knowing that there was no way out now. He grabbed a random object off of the desk and smashed it against Hawks head. It caught the blonde off guard and he went down, bleeding profusely at the side of his face. Should have seen this coming...

While the hero fought against losing conciousness, Dabi already landed another hit. And another. Watching closely as Hawks body went limb and almost lifeless. There was a sharp sting in his chest.

"This could have ended differently biride, I can't let you go and tell your colleagues now." With a final blow he pulled back and went out the door, he couldn't bring himself to actually kill the hero so he left him on the floor. Hoping it was enough to keep him knocked out for a few days.

He felt like an idiot. In a hurry he put on his coat and mask and went back the way he got in the apartment the first time. Through the airvents.

The stinging pain in is chest became unbearable as he snuck outside. I can't let shigaraki know I've let information slip, he'll turn me to ashes.

Or worse, he'll come for Hawks himself.

Dabi wondered why it worried him that Shigaraki would try to end Hawks, he didn't care about him. He only had a little fun and now he took care of the problem. Right?

Theres no way the blonde would wake up so soon after taking a beating like that.

Should I go back and hit him one more time? No, that was enough. He'll be safe from the battle and Shigaraki as long as he doesn't wake up.

I don't want to fight him one more time.
