Trails of whispers went around everywhere Sunoo and Sunghoon went.

"Did you hear what happened Friday night?"

"Of course, they're involved again."

"Do you think one of them did it?"

"I mean they were the suspects for Huang Dana's murder-."

"Huh, I'm not surprised. They seem like 'that' type."

"Probably used their parents' money to get away with it too."

Sunghoon clenched his fists, keeping in his anger as they walked towards their lockers.

Sunoo on the other hand was finding everyone's words nothing less than pathetic. He rolled his eyes, "People love to talk, don't they?"

"Clearly," Sunghoon gritted his teeth.

They reached their destination, Sunghoon harshly pulling open his locker after putting in the lock code.

Sunoo watched him, sighing. "Hey, don't take into account their words. They don't know anything."

Sunghoon wasn't having it, he was barely listening. He took out his chem textbook, before closing the door again. "I'll be going now." That's all he harshly muttered before leaving Sunoo.

The latter sighed, turning back to his own business. "He'll regret overthinking so much one day," he said to himself.

[10:13am]

The four girls sat around the steps of their school, their usual hanging spot.

"Dana's funeral date's been finalised-" Hari pointed out after seeing a student gossip account on Twitter post about it.

"Oh yeah?" Yeram looked up from her phone.

Aera and Ahyeun too were now paying attention.

"When?"

"It says the 21st," Hari replied.

"Isn't that her birthday?" Ahyeun mumbled to herself, but Aera was close enough to hear it.

"Yeah it is," she nodded.

"We're definitely getting an invite," Yeram said.

"Obviously, we're her friends," Hari rolled her eyes.

"To be honest, I'm surprised her parents don't hate us. Especially since we've been the main suspects in her killing," Ahyeun commented. "But then again, I don't think her parents could ever believe that we'd do such a thing."

"And none of us have," Yeram countered. "And I'm going to prove it."

"Yeah, good luck with that Sherlock," Hari mocked.

Yeram ignored her friend's word, continuing on. "I just need to get my hands on her diary."

She then turned to Aera, "When did Riki and Jake say they'd do it?"

Aera shrugged, "Whenever you want them to."

"Great, we'll do it today then. After school," Yeram smiled, pleased that she was going to get that diary as soon as possible.

"Hey guys, what are we talking about?" A voice suddenly spoke up behind them.

Jiu appeared next to them, taking a seat beside Aera.
