Chapter 2

Carter's POV

I wake up to my alarm ringing almost loud enough to make me deaf.

I slam it with my hand a little too hard, accidentally breaking it.

Well, it shouldn't have ringed at all, if it would just let me sleep in peace, then it would have been in a better state then it is right now.

I reluctantly get up, and go to the bathroom to do my business, before heading out of my room, and towards the front door.

My mom, and younger brother, Greyson, are siting in the dining room, finishing their breakfast.

"Don't you want to eat with us Carter?" My mom asks nicely.

I turn around to say that I'm not hungry, but when I do, I see that she has this look, that tells me that she won't let me out of here, before I eat.

I take a few toasts, and I push one after one into my mouth, before drinking a glass of juice, and then I get up to spend some time with my friends, we will probably train, or maybe drive around the city in my new car.

Oh wait, the car is broken because this little bastard decided that it will be a great idea to try to drive it, while he can't even stand straight.

Which reminds me that my father forced me to let the Omega know what to do, before I start my day.

"Remember to meet Timothy, he should be waiting for you in your father's office." My mom reminds me, but it's unnecessary, since I have just reminded myself of that.

"Can't you do it? I might murder him, when I see him." I tell her pleading her with my eyes, which makes her chuckle

"No, I have to make sure that your brother will reach the school, and then I have a few meetings to attend." She tells me.

"And you will have to do the paperwork that your father left for you, as a training for this week." She tells me, and I sigh loudly, letting her know that I would rather to anything else.

The paperwork is the worst thing that comes with being an Alpha.

"Don't act as a child, you will be an Alpha almost as soon as you find your mate, so you have to know how all of this works" She tells me, little did she know my mate is actually in this pack.

A little male Omega, named Timmy, and I can't stand to look at him right now.

I knew that he's my mate for five yours now, ever since I turned sixteen, the age that werewolves find their mate.

Omegas find their mates a year later then everyone, it's meant to protect them, I could have told him that I'm his mate, before claiming him, right when I found out, but I have decided to let him live his childhood since he was only eleven back then, so it was a right decision.

Now he's almost seventeen, so I won't be able to hide our mating from him for much longer.

Unfortunately, I'm angry as hell because of what he did, I was avoiding him for weeks now, since I don't want to hurt him in anger.

But it seems that I can't avoid him for much longer.

"Whatever." I say, before walking out of the house.
