Carter's POV
Few stupid attacks later, we decided that it's enough.
We have to plan an attack, and end it, or that stupid pack will be coming here for Goddess knows how long.
I have called the meeting with most of the warriors, except the ones that have a patrol right now, they will be informed of what the meeting was about when it's done.
We go over all the strategies that we will be using, and I decide that we will train harder than usual for the next few days before we attack.
I don't want to go unprepared, but the birth of my daughter is coming, and I don't want to risk not being here for this.
The attack might take a day, or it might take a month, we never know what will happen.
Also, I don't want to risk being attacked when my mate is at his lowest, or leave him to take care of two children by himself.
So, the attack will have to happen as soon as possible, and that will be in a week from now.
A week that we will dedicate to training, since even through that pack seems very unprepared for an attack, and not nearly strong enough to fight us, it's better to go over prepared instead of not prepared, like they do.
After the meeting is done, I decide to finally go, and question that girl that have beat Mason the other day.
I decided to leave her in the cellars for few days, since I didn't trust myself to not kill her on sigh.
Now, I think I might be able to let her stay alive, at least until I know the answers to my questions.
So, I go to the basement, where the cellars are, and I'm greeted by the guards that patrol the door.
They let me in, and I quickly go over to the cell of that girl.
I walk in front of the empty cellars, that used to be occupied by my former friends who now are rouges.
Except for one who claims to be my daughter's mate, so I can't let him be killed, not until she hopefully disagrees with his claim.
When I reach the cell, the girl is already looking at me.
"Why did you do that?" I ask, not in the mood for the investigation, but it has to be done.
"Because he's not even yours. Why would you take some rouge child, and mate with an Omega while I'm sitting here? Don't you have eyes? Can't you see that we were made for each other?" She asks, and I laugh, unamused.
"I already had enough." I say.
"I will kill them both if you won't choose me over that bastard." She threatens, coming closer to me.
I decide that I heard enough, so I put my hand into the cellar, and I grip her throat, squeezing until she takes her last breath.
I let her drop to the ground, and I walk out of the cellars, telling the guards to clean up the cellar.
At least they won't have anyone to guard for now.
