Timmy's POV
Carter and I decided that we don't want to find out the gender of our kid until they're born.
So, I suggested that we should make the room unisex, instead of waiting to know the gender.
With the date getting closer, and my stomach getting bigger every day, we decided that we should do it now, when I can still help with making it.
So, we went to another trip to the city, and we bought some yellow and brown paint, along with a brown crib, and a white dresser, followed by many clothes, and a lot more things.
We had to take it all upstairs to our apartment, but this time we welcomed the help of a few of our pack members, which made it a lot faster, and a lot less exhausting.
"Alright. Where do we start?" I ask, when I look at the empty room that is right next to Mason's room, with shared bathroom in between.
"The paint, I guess." He says, and I nod in agreement.
"Another competition?" I ask, already excited.
"So you can cheat again? No thanks." He says.
"Come on, I will let you win this time." I says, before I hug him, while he glares at me.
"I don't need you to let me win, just don't cheat, and I will be fine." He says.
"You're too sure of yourself." I respond.
"I am." He confirms.
He takes my hand, and he leads me to the room that we're about to paint, giving me all the things that I will need, before going to his wall, leaving me to myself.
I paint the wall for the next few minutes, before I get a little bored, and indecide to make it a little more interesting.
I take a bit of paint on the brush, and go over to him to paint his arm.
He looks at me, before looking down at his arm, and then he looks back at me, with a glare on his face.
I laugh loudly, looking at the ceiling, but then I feel him pour a lot paint on my stomach.
I look down to see that my whole shirt is wet with the yellow paint, making it cling to my skin, even more than it already did.
I look up again, Carter's already smirking down at me, really happy with what he did.
He turns around, to continue to paint, while I go back to take my can of pain, and I pour it at his back.
He doesn't turn around, already expecting me to do it.
I sigh in frustration, and I continue to paint my side of the room.
We are done soon, and Carter changes the floor to a light grey one, before we bring the rest of the things inside, to finish it up.
"New room for me?" Mason asks when he comes running into the room.
"Not for you my dear, it's for your sibling that will join us soon, you just got your room not long ago." Carter explains.
I expected Mason to cry, but he just nods, slightly disappointed.
"How about we have some snacks?" I ask, and it's all it takes to brings a huge smile on Mason's face.
