Chapter 18

Carter's POV

"I was so worried." Timmy tells me, hugging me tightly, and I hug him back.

He lets me go after a while, and I take the chance to tell everyone that they're allowed to get out, but they have to be cautious, and not leave the pack house for few more days.

They're not happy with that, but they accept it and they start to get out of the huge room, that is a part of the basement, only locked with about thousands of different locks.

Timmy pulls me to our apartment, and forces me to take a shower, and sleep for a few hours since we barely slept last night, before the alarm woke us up at very early hour.

I reluctantly oblige, and he joins me in the bed, I hug him from behind, and enjoy the feeling of his body, which feels a bit bigger than it did a few days ago.

I'm woken up few hours later by Timmy who claims that he's hungry.

I roll my eyes at him, before standing up anyway, I decide to heat up a pizza for both of us to eat.

"It's my birthday tomorrow." He says.

"I know." I inform.

"I know that you know." He tells me, chuckling.

"Then why are telling me?" I ask, making him shrug unsure.

"Will you be free for a whole day? So that we can spend it together?" He asks.

"That was the plan." I tell him, and he smiles brightly, making me smile too.

"By the way what would you want to get? I have no idea what to give you." I tell him.

"I want a child." He tells me, making me look at him, stunned.

"A child?" I ask.

"Yeah. Can we try to have a child?" He asks me, with puppy eyes.

"Alright, if that's what you want then let's do it on your birthday, but we should go to the Doctor first, you might already be pregnant." I inform him.

"Ok, we can go on my birthday then, and if I'm not pregnant, then we can try again." He says, and I nod in agreement.

I'm not sure if I want children yet, but it's not really for me to decide, if the Moon Goddess decides that it's time for us to have a kid, then so be it.

If not, then we will just have to wait a little longer.

"How about we go for a walk in the morning, to start the day?" I suggest.

"Yeah, the walk, then the Doctor, and then we will see." He confirms.

At least my friends didn't accidentally tell him about the birthday celebration, that we will have for him.

I was sure that one of them would accidentally say something about it, but it seems that they have some self control after all.

After the pizza is done, we decide to eat it outside, so we go to the backyard of the pack house, which have been already cleaned from decorations.

We sit on the red blanket the I took from our apartment, and we eat in peace.
