Timmy's POV

"Carter." I say, trying to get his attention.

We are currently sitting in his office, doing the paperwork that he taught me how to do.

I know that there's not much I can physicaly do to help lead this pack, so I wanted to learn to at least help him with the paperwork, and I'm pretty good at it.

"I think I want to know the gender of our kid before it's born. I know we agreed to wait until the birth, but I would like to welcome him or her with a name ready for them." I explain, hoping that he will agree.

"I don't mind if we know, it was your suggestion if I remember correctly." He says, smiling at me.

"So can we go today?" I ask, and he nods.

"And then we can look at the names, and maybe pick few of them, we don't have to decide yet, but I want to have one before the baby is here." I say.

"Yeah, we can do this, but finish this first please." He says, making me look down at the stack of papers that is lying in front of me.

I glare at it, as if it will make it disappear, I'm suddenly not liking this work.

Carter chuckles at me, but I don't spare him a glance, I go back to the work, trying to finish it as quickly as I can.

We are done a few hours later, and as we agreed, we go straight to the Doctor's office.

"What can I help you with Alpha?" He asks curiously.

"We decided that we want to know the gender of our kid." Carter informs.

Doctor Zack nods, and he tells me to take my shirt off, and to lie down on the hospital bed that is in the room.

I do so quickly, and the Doctor pours the very cold gel on my stomach.

This time I knew it will be cold, so I don't shiver as much, unlike the last time, but I still wince at how cold it is.

Doctor Zack looks at the screen of the machine, and we can see something that looks a lot more like the kid compared to what we saw the last time we were here, I still can't see it clearly through.

We look at the screen for few minutes, before the Doctor is sure of the gender.

"It's a girl. Congratulations." He says, clearly happy for us.

"That's great." Carter says happy, looking at the screen, amazed.

I'm happy too, I did want to have boy first, but I'm happy anyway.

At least I know that we will have to have another kid, since we still don't have a heir.

I hear Carter groan, most likely realising this to.

"I was hoping that this one will be the only one." He says, pouting.

"I was hoping to have only boys, but now I hope to have a lot of girls first, if this mean that we will have a big family." I say happily, and he groans again.

The Doctor chuckles at us before going out of the room for a moment, and he comes back with another set of pictures.

We take them, and we go out of the hospital, so we can get Mason from my dad, who deffinitelly had enough of him already.
