Timmy's POV

"A deer?" I ask, not very sure.

"Yeah, we should shift, and go after it." He says happy.

I don't know how I feel about hunting, I did agree, since I wanted to see what all those males are fawning about, but I don't want to get hurt by a scared animal.

Carter said that I won't have to kill it, he will do it for me, he just wants me to learn how to track the scents.

Since my vision isn't the best, it could help me if one day I got lost somewhere.

"Come on." He says, before stripping his clothes, and then he shifts into his seven feet tall, black wolf.

I do the same, and soon I'm standing in my two feet tall, white wolf.

"Cute." Carter says through the mind link, and I jump forgetting that this is possible.

I don't shift very often, since if I wanted shift, I would have to do it in the pack lands, and every time that I did shift, I was being laugh at by other people, because of my size.

Only Omegas are this small, females don't go below three feet.

I feel like a kid when I stand next to Carter.

Sure, in our human forms we have a big high difference, but it's not as bad as this.

"Come on, the deer is getting away." He says, and he motions for me to follow him.

He takes slow steps, while I have to run to keep up with him.

I run for a while, until he picks me up by my neck, and he starts to run.

"No. I didn't agree to this." I say, annoyed at his behaviour.

"We will never get there if we go this slow, sorry mate." He laughs.

I decide to just let it be, allowing him to run quickly for a while, until I hear something hit the ground hard, and he drops me when he yelps loudly in pain.

I look at him, trying to find what caused this reaction, and I find that his leg is gripped by some trap.

The warriors that were following us, come forward to see what happened, so I step aside, and I lick one of Carter's paws to hopefully make him feel a little better.

He licks my head, and I look up to see that his leg was freed by one of the warriors.

He tries to move it, and he winces a little, a few seconds later he shifts onto his human form again, and he starts to put on his clothes from before, that were carried by the warriors.

I shift too, and we head back to the pack house, to let the Doctor look at his arm, that doesn't look very good.

It looks blue and grey, and there's a lot of blood coming out of it.

One of the warriors tells him to cover it with his shirt, to slow down the bleeding, and he does so with a little help of that warrior.

We reach the pack house few hours later, and go straight to the pack hospital.
