Timmy's POV
As we enter the Alpha's apartment, that is on the top floor of the pack house, we are greeted by silence.
No one is here, not that I have expect someone to be here, I know that the Alpha and his family live in a house, that is close to the pack house.
Carter sometimes stays here, when his parents annoy him too much.
"Are you hungry?" Carter asks me, still carrying me in his arms.
"Yes, I have already eaten, but waiting for you, and the hospital, accompanied by pain, made me hungry again." I complain.
"Ok, go ahead, and choose something then." He says, before walking to stand in front the fridge, he sets me down, finally, and he opens the fridge door for me.
I take a look at all the options, mostly meat of which I'm not a big fan, so I decide on a salad, that rests on the bottom shelf.
I take it out before turning around, just quickly enough to see Carter roll his eyes at my choice.
I smile at him, he sighs and looks past me, before he makes me step to the side, so he can reach a steak, from one of the top shelfs.
"Of course, you would choose that." I say, now it's my turn to laugh.
"It's better than yours." He says, before putting his hand on my back, and pushing me lightly towards the dining room.
"Wow, this apartment is bigger than about fifteen normal apartments in this pack house." I say, while looking around.
"Perks of being an Alpha, you will know more of them soon." He says before realising what he just said.
"What do you mean?" I ask, looking at his panicked expression.
"Nothing." He says, way to quickly, before motioning for me to sit on the chair that he pulled out for me.
"Do you want me to be your mate, or something?" I ask, before another thought crosses my mind.
"Actually, aren't you supposed to know who your mate is already? Am I your mate? Is this why you were nice to me while others were not? Answer me?" I plead.
He sighs, already exhausted by our conversation.
"Yes, you're my mate, you would have found out soon anyway, so there's no need to hide it anymore." He says.
"And no, I wasn't nice to you just because you're my mate. I was nice to you ever since you were born if I remember correctly." He continued.
"Yeah, it's true, whatever." I say, dismissing him, before finally sitting on the chair.
He looks at me, amused, before sitting on the chair that is right next to mine.
We both start to eat, before a thought crosses my mind.
"So, does that mean we can sleep together?" I ask curiously, already excited about it.
He looks at me, stunned, his mouth slightly agape, and a little bit of raw steak sticking out of it.
After a few seconds, he finally composes himself, before shaking his head.
"Not before your seventeen." He responds, making me pout.
"But..." I try to say, but he cuts me off.
"No buts." He tells, me shaking his head again.
