Carter's POV
It's the day of my coronation, the ceremony will be at night, followed by the mating ceremony.
Unfortunately, the mating ceremony will have to happen right after my coronation.
I'm not very happy about it, considering the fact that Timmy is not seventeen yet, and I'm known for following the rules of our ancestors.
I believe that all of them were set for a reason, which doesn't mean that some of them shouldn't change.
People change every day, and some of the situations that caused the rules to be set, will most likely never happen again.
But in my opinion, the age of Omega's mating shouldn't change.
I don't care that my mate is an Omega, I wasn't very happy when I found out few years ago, but I learned to accept it eventually.
I believe that we can be happily mated in the end, but that doesn't change the fact that he's an Omega.
Omegas are very intelligent, but unfortunately, they don't have very strong mental health, most of them are too obedient to even say their opinion.
They are not strong, the humans are a lot stronger than them, they also can get sick, which is almost unheard of in other ranks.
They also can be easily convinced, or forced to do things for other pack members, which is punishable in this pack, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
But even though they aren't the best in many things, at least they're easy to lead, and they don't make many problems, unlike other ranks.
"Hey! Where are you going Alpha?" My friend Harvey asks mockingly, trying to catch up to me, I wait for him, and I continue on my path when he's few steps away.
He follows me to my office, where we sit down, I on my desk chair, and he in front of my desk.
Harvey is my new future beta, I got ris of the last one, when I found out what really happened with my car.
All of my former friends got locked in the cellars under my pack house, they will be kicked out of here, but to do this they have to be questioned multiple times first.
We usually let the rouges go, since most of them just accidentally stumble across our pack lands, but we question them first, and this process takes up to a month in some cases.
We have to make sure that they won't be a future threat to my pack, if we can't be sure of that, we leave them in the cellars until they die, or ask to be executed.
I'm happy that I had two groups of friends, since now I need the Beta, Gamma, and Delta positions to be filled, and I would have a problem, if I didn't have any more trusted friends.
"Alright, we need to finish this paperwork, make sure that everything is prepared, and get ready for the ceremonies." I tell Harvey, before giving him the set of papers that need to be signed, and I start to sign my part of them.
