Chapter 34

Timmy's POV

We walk through the woods, trying to scent a deer.

We are still in our human forms, since Carter said the he wants to spend some time with me in this form first.

He said that he will try to teach me how to hunt, in both forms, I don't really think that I will be good at it, considering how week my sense of smell is, but we will see.

"Do you smell anything yet?" I ask Carter, he's trying to concentrate so he can catch the smell of our prey.

"No, it seems there are no deers nearby, we will walk for a while longer, if there's no deer, then we will hunt some rabbits instead. Sounds good?" He asks, and I nod in agreement.

We have already walked for a few hours, crosswind our pack's border a long time ago.

I was never allowed to come here, for safety reasons, the Alpha have decided that the kids, Omegas, women, and all men that aren't warriors won't be allowed to come here.

The women in our pack are not warriors, since they're not allowed to join for few reasons.

And they are almost the same as the reasons that Omegas can't join.

Even if most of the women in our pack are pretty tough, I have never known a woman that had a wolf as big as a male werewolf.

When average male, as a wolf, is about five feet tall, counting from paws to head, the biggest female I have seen, has reached only half this size.

They also don't get much muscle mass in a wolf form, even if they exercise way more than a male.

So, they can't become strong enough to defeat enemy even if they try.

They also can get into heat, whenever their body wishes, and they can't do anything about it.

So, if a group of warriors went on a long trip, and a woman will get a heat, it wouldn't have ended very good, if any of them would have survived at all.

But that doesn't mean that they can't train their human forms, Omega's can't do that, but women very well can.

Their human form is almost the same as normal human, while a male werewolf grows much taller.

But that doesn't mean that they can't be strong, and I was hit by a strong woman, so I know that they can be very strong.

I used to watch the training all the time when I was younger, only to see Carter train.

My friends and I don't really like the idea of training, the women doesn't show much interest in this neither.

On the other hand, all males that are over sixteen, are expected to become a warrior, and train a lot.

It's a pack law, they have to participate in the training all the time.

It doesn't matter if they want to or not, they just have to, and it's the end of the topic.

The only way they can get out of it, is when they aren't able to train for whatever reason that might be, but they need to convince the Alpha, that they aren't capable of fighting.

The only good thing is that they don't have to actually fight if they don't wish to, not until it's necessary to win at least.

"Can you smell it?" Carter asks me, and I turn my attention to him again before sniffing.
