Chapter 13

Carter's POV

I enter the apartment, and I go straight to my and Timmy's bedroom.

I find him still asleep, and I hesitate for a moment, before eventually I wake him up.

He groans making me chuckle, I help him sit up, and he looks at me tiredly, before smiling at me slightly.

I hate to take his smile away, but we have to start to get ready for the ceremonies.

"Sorry baby, but we have to start to get ready." I say, he's smile falls, as expected, and he groans again.

"Get dressed, you have to visit the Doctor, then you will be watching the ceremony from the backstage, and after that, you and I will be escorted to the mating room." I explain, and I pull him up gently, making him stand.

"Whatever." He says, and I chuckle slightly, he's already embarrassed about what will happen later today.

He quickly pulls off his shirt, and puts on a clean one, before doing the same with his boxers, and putting on his trousers.

I take the bag with his clothes for the ceremony, and we exit the apartment, before going to the medical part of the pack house.

I knock on the door of the Doctor's office to let him know that we're here, and lead Timmy to the last door.

We go to the bathroom that is connected to the room, and I instruct Timmy to take his clothes off, which he isn't happy about, and he lets me know about it, by punching my side, quite strongly for an Omega, but not strongly enough to hurt me, an Alpha.

I eventually get him to take his clothes off, and now he's standing in front of me, his hand covering his crotch, and his face red because of embarrassment.

"Alright, Doctor Zack will be here shortly, he will shave your body, everything except the hair on your head, and then he will do few simple examinations. Ok?" I explain.

"Why will he shave me, when I don't even have any hair on my body?" He asks me.

"Because it a tradition, the Alpha's mate is supposed to be as clean as possible for the ceremony." I explain.

He nods, and then we hear the door open, and the Doctor steps inside.

"Alright, let's get started." Doctor Zack says, and he mentions for us to sit on the chairs that are in this room.

He takes blood samples, from both of us, then he does few more tests to Timmy, and he shaves him, before letting us go.

I lead Timmy back to the apartment, since almost everything is done and we still have few hours to relax.

As we near the apartment, my father in front of the front door, probably wanting to talk with us, so we invite him inside, and I tell him to sit on the couch while I make us all some tea.

When I'm done with the teas there's a knock on the door, so I open it to see my mother and brother, I invite them inside too, and I sigh to myself, before making more tea.
