Carter's POV
"Do I really have to do this." Timmy complines.
We are currently in the training field, it's just an open field in the middle of woods, but it's the best place for trainings.
The main reason is that very little sun reaches the ground here, since there are a lot of trees, which is a great thing in the middle of the summer.
At least now its spring, so the air is cool enough for the very long sessions, that my warriors don't enjoy in the slightest.
But now it's not another training session for my warriors, it's actually a private training that I'm having with Timmy.
I have decided that it would be useful for him to know at least a few tricks of how to defeat himself, it might be useful if he will get attacked in the future.
Of course, there's no way that he will manage to kill someone, since he isn't strong enough, but that doesn't mean that he can't know few tricks.
"Yes, you might need to use it one day, you never know." I tell him.
"But I don't want to." He says whining, then he sits on the ground in front of me.
"I'm tired." He says, lying down on his back.
"How can you be tired after five minutes?" I ask, stunned.
"Alright, I'm not tired, I just don't want to train. Happy?" He asks.
"If you ever get kidnapped, and you won't know how to escape, then just think back to this training session." I say, looking down at him, already annoyed.
"Come sit here." He demands, and I think about if for few seconds, before I sigh in defeat, and I sit next to him.
"Mason is probably up already, and I can bet the he's pissed that we left without him again." I say, laughing slightly.
"Yeah, most likely." Timmy says, chuckling.
Mason started to make a lot of trouble lately, it only happens when he realises that we left him, or when we tell him that we will be leaving him, even if it's just for a while.
He is making a lot of trouble, and it started to be really difficult to find someone that can manage to watch him.
And we have to leave a lot, sometimes even for a meeting, that takes a few days.
It became a big problem, to say the least.
"We really have to do something about him, he can't be this attached to us, it's unhealthy, and problematic." I complain.
"Yeah, but what can we do?" He asks, and I shrug, I have no idea how to make Mason less stubborn.
"Maybe it will go away with age." I suggest.
"I think it might have something to do with the new baby, I take it everywhere, since it's inside of me, and he probably feels left out." He says.
This will make sense, and I would like for this to be true, it will mean that when the baby is born, he will be back to normal.
"Maybe." I say.
