Hungry? Have a Knuckle Sandwich! (Chapter 47)

Everything was a blur. Your mind was struggling to keep up with the chaos that broke out before you. Your body, despite all the damage it has taken thus far, was moving with godlike speed and agility. It was moving on its own. 

Stab, dodge, jump, kick, dodge, stab 

The air was filled with monster dust, as monsters exploded all around you. Beyond that though, your vision was tunneled and you were moving on autopilot. 

You had zero idea of what the others were doing, but judging from all the dust collecting in the air, they too were slaughtering like beasts.

Hehe, slay  💅

The crazy thing was that despite the fact that you were full on charging into battle with all these hungry monsters, you seemed to feel unscathed, great and powerful even. 

That couldn't be right, there's no way you're THAT overpowered. 

As if to confirm this growing suspicion, a dracaena sliced your arm with a blade that you assumed was taken from a defeated demigod. However, even though you saw the slice with your own eyes, you didn't feel it at all. Nothing, even as you watched the blood start to gather and flood at the wound's opening. 

But as soon as it appeared, it closed up and disappeared as if the blade never made contact at all. 

No freaking way, my wounds are healing as soon as they're made! You internally screamed. 

A newfound confidence bubbled up inside you and a strong energy surged through as you took on the never ending wave of enemies. Your lips began to manipulate into a smirk as the more monsters you defeated the easier the battle became. 

Am I getting stronger? 

No, this is not the case you soon discovered. These mythical legends and beasts were retreating AWAY from you. 

You felt it. Their fear. This is it, your overpowered main character moment. You relished this feeling and felt this new feeling deep inside you, like the preyed becoming the predator. 

"I'm hungry, I just wanted my sandwich!" A cyclops cried out. Soon, he regretted ever speaking at all. When it turned to look for the danger, it came face to fist with it. 

"Hungry? Here's your knuckle sandwich!" You proceeded to punch the cyclops in the face with a force so great the cyclops exploded on impact. 

Someone zoomed past you, pursuing the fleeing monsters. It was Jaguar. 

Suddenly, your knees buckled and you promptly fell on the ground, struggling to breathe. Your body felt like it was on fire and everything ached. Soon a pair of feet came running up to you. 

"Y/n!" 

"D..*breath*...David" you huffed back. He stood protectively over you. "You used too much of your strength and wiped out." David then turned back and looked down at you and half grinned, "you were an absolute beast, the monsters feared you! Not gonna lie you looked super hot too." You blushed, still catching your breath. 

You noticed it got quiet, with some footsteps and the clip clop of hooves heading in your direction. 

"Y/n, are you alright?" Nathen asked as he knelt down to give you water from his water pouch he conveniently had on him. To which you gratefully accepted and guzzled down the blissful liquid, refreshing your dried thought and mouth. 

"We did not just do that!" Exclaimed Zion as he victoriously leapt into the air with a pumped up fist. 

"Hold your horses, this is just one victory, we still have bigger battles up ahead no doubt." Annabel reminded him. Percy, still on top of Black Jack, rode to her side with a grave look, knowing what was still to come. "We still have people to find and more butts to kick, then we can get the heck out of here." He added. 

They are right, despite the mixed feelings, you still felt the need to find b/f/n, and convince her to come back with you guys, though you feel deep inside that's not going to be the case. 

But I must try. 

Struggling,  you got back on your feet, wobbling as you do you. But nonetheless you straightened your back into a determined poster. "We're not done yet, b/f/n I swear to find you if it's the last thing I do." 

You took a step onward. 

What's up y'all?! It's been a hot minute hasn't it?! *cough*years*cough*

I'm honestly surprised people are still reading this, this book seems like a whole lifetime ago for me! It's been years since I've fallen in love with the Percy Jackson series. 

Also due to the long hiatus, plot details have been forgotten. However, to those who still read this I shall give it an ending and see it to the end. While it may not be as good as I have originally planned it, probably due to missing details that I've forgotten, an ending is an ending. 

So while the ending for this book is finally coming near, I do have some other book ideas in mind that I will finally have some time and energy to commit to now I'm out of school and almost done with my first year college! Yay! 

Again, Kudos to those of you that have been waiting on an update, here it is finally!
