Let's not Die(Chapter 44)

Suddenly everything stopped, like you were frozen in time. You opened your eyes to see that you were hovering, an unseen force beneath you was preventing you from falling. You looked at David, he had a look of concentration on his face.

He's controlling winds, you figured out.

Then the force beneath you became stronger, pushing you guys upward. But soon it slowed to only a stop. Sweat beaded on his forehead. He doesn't have enough strength left to fly us out of here.

An Idea popped into your head. Moirai. It provided strength to you for when you needed it, could you somehow transfer that energy to David?

You closed your eyes and started to focus on your energy. You imagined it charging up, and it bolting out of you and into David, like lightning. 

Suddenly you guys shot out of the hole and came racing towards the ceiling. Well, guess that worked, but too well. You then focused your energy into slowing down time. Now you guys were moving slow motion, but it gave David enough time to cease the winds. As you guys started to fall again, at normal speed, David willed the winds to push you past the ledge, where you crash landed. 

You locked eyes with him, unable to speak. So instead you both pulled in for a tight hug, sobbing in relief. 

After what seemed to be ten minutes you pulled apart. "We need to find the others." David nodded in agreement. After helping you up, the two of you started down the dark tunnel, you still glowing, and on high alert.

The two of you walked on in silence, trying to process what just happened to you. But it was just way to much to process. You actually saw Kronos, Josh is a traitor, probably taking many other demigods with him. You and David defeated the Minotaur, almost fell to what was most likely Tartarus, and now you're trying to find your friends, which there's no sign of them.

And then there was B/f/n.

You felt sick to your stomach thinking about it, so you pushed the thought aside. David suddenly halted to a stop.

"What is it?" You whispered.

"There is someone else at the end of the tunnel."

Your eyes widened, it was a 50% chance that it could be one of your friends, but it could also be a monster. You also realized that you needed to stop glowing. You closed your eyes in concentration, and slowly, the glow began to fade.

"Let's see who it is." You whispered, unsheathing Moirai.  

Walking further down the tunnel, you started to hear a sobbing. It was Zion.

Taking a risk, you asked "Zion? Is that you?"

"Y/n?!" The satyr bleated.

"And David." David added.

"Blahahaha! I thought I lost you guys for good! I tried contacting David with our empathy link, but there must have been some type of interference preventing from doing so."

You guys rejoiced in a group hug. "At least we have each other now. But we still need to find the others." 

"Let's try looking in the direction you two came from." Zion suggested. 

You and David looked at each other, "How about let's not. Already been down that way twice. Another time is really not needed. Let's not die." Stated David.

"So let's keep going this way." You decided. Zion shrugged.

"Ok. Fine with me. I don't smell any monsters that way either. So let's go."

So off the three of you went, searching for any sign of the others.
