Just Hanging out(Chapter 18)

Afterwards, you, David, b/f/n, and Zion head down to the lake to...well..just hangout like normal kids. You shared a roar of laughter with David when Zion was defeated in an arm wrestling challenge against b/f/n, the daughter of Nike. Not the wisest choice that goat boy has made.

After taking a few moments to compose yourself, wiping a tear from your eye, you were finally able to speak.

"Well...that was something."

"Yep" David agreed, popping the p. You laughed again. You were enjoying this moment with your friends, laughing.

"Hey y/n!" B/f/n addressed you.

"Yeah?"

"A little bird told me that someone's been crushing hard." She said with knowing look. She started to stray her gaze on him, but it was your turn.

You replied with a smirk, "Is that someone you?" You gave her the same knowing look, she started blushing hard. You mentally high fived yourself, for once besting the Daughter of Nike in a sass battle that ended quickly.

But that soon was over when Jaguar trotted over to your group. "Hey guys!" She greeted.

You all greeted her back, after that event with the mean group of Ares kids, you have a newfound respect for her.

"So have you settled down in the Poseidon cabin yet?" You asked her.

"Yep, Percy is a really nice brother and cabin mate, we both pulled a prank on the Stoll's!" She replies with a mischievous smirk. You laughed. "Good thing I'm not on your bad side."

After awhile of cracking up laughing with your friends, when the conch horn sounded, signaling dinner. You heard a rumble of a stomach off to your right, where David was sitting. You smirked. "Someone has a thunderstorm brewing up, better feed him before lightning strikes."

David punched your arm playfully. Returning the same smirk, uh oh.

"Race you to the..." but before he could even finish his statement you were already sprinting towards the dining pavilion with Jaguar and b/f/n, giggling crazily. David then helped Zion to his feet...er hooves...and sprinted after you.

They were calling after you, Jaguar, and b/f/n, but you guys only ran faster, legs burning. You still couldn't help but let a smile linger onto your face. That's until a shadow falls onto you. You looked up to see David, with Zion holding on for dear life, zooming over head, typical child of Zeus.

Your smirk melted off your face as they started to pass you over head. But before you could find a stone to throw at them, running close to the lake, a huge wave knocks them out of the sky behind you, leaving them soaked on the ground. It was Jaguar. You looked over at her to see a huge, victorious grin on her face and a mischievous twinkle in her brown eyes. She almost had the same look Leo has after jumping out of a closet yelling 'surprise!' Yes, you sadly have witnessed this prank on b/f/n, let's just say he walked away with a bloody nose. There is a good reason why you never, surprise b/f/n. Speaking of which, she was laughing her head off! Jaguar couldn't help but let out a chuckle, it was a good prank after all!

You? Let's just say by the time you settled down, you had to wipe tears of laughter out of your eyes! David saw this and gave you a pouty face, "Hey! It's not that funny! I was in it to win it!"

You rolled your eyes playfully as you heard b/f/n scoff, Jaguar gave out a "tch." Followed by a "cough*cheater*cough!" David's turn to roll his eyes, Zion face palmed. Quick, before they do! You Thought to yourself.

You took off towards the dining pavilion, b/f/n and Jaguar following close behind you, letting out laughter.

You guys beat them to it, you all gave each other high fives. A tired David and a wiped out Zion came in a few seconds later, panting. Dang they run fast! David thought to himself, And the way y/n was running with the wind through her hair, her laughter echoing in the breeze...wait, Bad David! I shouldn't think about my best friend like this! But she's so, perfect! David was shooken out of his thoughts when Zion started waving a hand infront of his face. "Yoo-hoo!!! Dreamer boy! Are ya going to eat or what?!" After David nodded, Zion gave a satisfied grin. "Good! By the way, during campfire, let's meet up in the swords arena. You know, to get some extra training in before the big quest thingy." You flashed a confident grin, this made David's heart leap. "Sure, I'm in!" You say, oblivious to the dreamy face David is making while looking..no, staring at you. But this doesn't go unnoticed, b/f/n sees this. aw! She thinks to herself, soooooooo cute! I ship it! Oh jeez, inner Aphrodite springing free! Zion also sees this. When is he going to finally ask her?!!! Dude! JUST DO IT! But then Zion forgot that he hasn't set up an empathy link with David yet. Even Jaguar sees something is up with you and David, she's mentally squealing.

Wow, my friends seem out of it! You mentally sigh when you noticed your friends in a daze of some sort. "Hello? Are we getting dinner or what?! I'm STARVING!!!!! NEED FOOOOOOOD!!! Did you guys have any sleep last night?! Let's GO!" You say while dragging your friends into the dining pavilion, you were getting your food and we're getting it now!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, been busy, but I hope this chapter wasn't to cringy! I wanted to add some of the other characters thoughts for a change, so please tell me if I should continue this or not, I am open to any suggestions and I would like to thank all of my readers!
