Soooooooooo (Chapter 21)

For the sake of your fate, you answered, "Sure, I think that's cool." You definitely didn't want (or need) Josh hating you for life because of one simple no. With that, he nodded respectfully, "Cool, by the way, firsts quests are...um...difficult. Don't ask me why, but I just thought it nice to give you a fair warning." That was surprising, he actually said the word nice. "Um...thanks!" You reply, somewhat gratefully. 

You turned around to leave, but you suddenly turned around saying, "there is kindness in you Josh, you just gotta let it show, open up to people, if you decide to take my advice, maybe you will make great friends, people who actually understand you, people who truly care and can be trusted. Don't let bullying others hide your pain, there is always a better solution." You didn't know where that came from, or how you knew he sufferes everyday. You looked up at his face, he showed no expression. Then suddenly he lunged at you.

You stifled a yelp of surprise,  I mean, he really lunged at you. It took you a second to relies that he was actually hugging you. Not to mention sobbing in your shoulder. You awkwardly patted his back. 

Once you overcame your shock, you decided against pulling away, he was clinging on to you as if it meant his life. He suddenly mumbled something into your shoulder, you couldn't hear him and you felt bad to ask him to repeat, but surprisingly he did. "Thanks y/n, I'm sooo sorry for being a...a jerk. Thanks for seeing more to me than that. Could we...be...friends?" He asks. You felt really bad for him at that moment, and being the kindhearted daughter of Apollo you are, you answered, "of coarse! Your welcome to come to me anytime you need help or just someone to talk to, don't be afraid any longer." You said this with a smile, he smiled back. After that the two of you parted. You walked back to your cabin to wash up and get ready for lunch. 

La time skip! Brought to you by the dam snack bar...       

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly after that. After lunch, you met up with Nico, who promised to show you his favorite game, Mythomagic. A couple hours later, you practiced in the arena again with b/f/n, David, and Zion. After an hour of that you went off and ran into Leo, who kept cracking jokes and talked of some invention ideas, since you were blessed by Athena, he asked if you could help him sometime, which you agreed to. After that you decided to walk around the beach, it was sunset and it all ways looked breathtaking. 

You started humming your favorite tune, y/f/s, and eventually started to full out sing. You were pretty much secluded from anyone else, so you didn't mind. The more you sang the more majestic the sunset became. You were actually enjoying yourself, and when you got to the end of your song, you heard clapping.

You spun around to see Jaguar there, clapping her hands in applause. "Wow, you have a lovely voice! You should sing like that more often! I probably could never sing like that!" Jaguar  complemented.

"Oh...uh...thanks?" You say more questingly. This made Jaguar laugh. "Well hey, it's true!" 

You gave her a grin, she returned the grin. You were really liking this girl, maybe oneday you two could be real good friends, but that's when you realize that Jaguar couldn't possibly be her real name, or how she came to be in New York, when she was from South Dakota!!!

"So are you really liking camp?" You asked. 

"Ya, the people here are pretty chill. I love training and free time equally. How about you? When did you arrive?" This stumped you a few seconds. First you realized the glint of sadness in her light brown eyes, and how she changed manners so quickly, from out and open to conservative. Then you realized that it was been two weeks since you arrived here! You wondered how your mom was, and your poor y/s/b! You wondered how much better she has gotten, and her current condition...

"Yoo-hoo! Are you in there?" Jaguar says, slipping in a pretty good British accent. 

"Oh, sorry, just lost in thought." You reply with the same British accent. 

"Oh my, dozing off in class are we miss y/l/n? 25 points from y/p/h/h(your preferred hogwarts house)!" Jaguar says in a strict British tone.

"Wow, your such a geek!" You said laughing. 

"I know I am. By the way, it's geeky Greek to you!" She says in a sassy tone. 

"I think you inherited some Persassy." You say. 

"Yup." She replys, popping the 'p'. 

"Oh no! Watch out! Jagsasser has been unleashed!" Says a voice behind you, you looked over to see Persassy...uh Percy, and Leo.

 "Oh no! Not the drama queens!" Jaguar says very much dramatically. Meanwhile you and Leo started laughing your heads off, while Jaguar was smirking and Percy with a frown on his face. 

"Watch out Percy! Jagsasser is on the loose!" Leo exlaims between laughs. 

"Watch out yourself Valdez." Persassy replied. 

Oh! You just got burned!" You exclaimed. Percy immediately started shaking his head. "No y/n! Don't give him any ideas..."

"This! Kid IS ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥" Leo sang while combusting into flames. Percy put his face in his palms while Jaguar rolled her eyes. You chuckled at how childish Leo was. 

After Leo was done, you all heard the sound of the dinner conch horn, Percy and Leo chasing each other, while you and Jaguar walked together, you decided to ask Jaguar more about herself later, since she seemed in a mood where she does not want be disrupt her happy state. 

So dinner passed by quickly, and campfire too. You decided that tomorrow you would ask Jaguar later about her ordeal. Before you knew it you were tucked in bed. You hadn't realized how hard you have been training for the quest, until your muscles were really sore. That's when realization hit you in the face, there was only one day left before the quest...
