B/f/n's Challenge (Chapter 28)

After the chat with Nico you decided to go up on the deck, not really expecting anyone to be up there anymore. You passed by b/f/n's room, and guessed she was in there, probably bored to tears.

The realization hit you that you guys never really had hang out time, due to resent events, so you decided to do a check up.

You opened the door to find a pink room with a walk in closet, a makeup area, and a very fancy pink bed, as if it was built for a drama queen. You guessed the previous owner must've been a child of Aphrodite. (Spell check wanted me to put Ares🤣) You found b/f/n lying on her back on the bed, staring at the ceiling as if she expected it to do something. 

"Hey (b/f/n), what's up?" You greeted her. (Sorry if this doesn't sound like you, again I'm socially awkward!) 

"The sky, duh." She replays in a playful tone, happy that she is finally with her best friend. 

"What ya up to?" You asked, but you knew answer.

"Nothing."

"How are you?"

"Extremely bored." You both laugh.

"So...have you heard much from your mom?" You curiously asked.

B/f/n stiffened. Her expression hardened and she looked at the ground. "Yes...but it doesn't sound good." She visibly shivered, remembering her mom's message. 

"What did she say?" You questioned concernedly, seeing how b/f/n's usually proud posture was curling in on itself, like how a turtle hides in its shell.

"I...think I should inform the whole group, it may just affect our quest." She says sternly.

"The sooner the better, So maybe lunch will do it?" You suggested.

"Yeah, by lunch." She agreed. Then she asked, "Did you hear from your dad?"

Now it was your turn to look at the ground. "N-no...but I have been having these awful dreams." You tried not to sound disappointed, but there was a gut feeling that won't last long. You shook the feeling and began telling her your dreams, minus the romantic moments with David, no one needs to hear it. 

"Wooooow." She says, holding it out with a 'sucks to be you' tone. 

"I've been having these dreams for quite awhile," you explained, "I haven't told anyone yet only because I wasn't sure at all of what they meant. You are the first person I told." you stated. 

B/f/n considered, "Well, I'm not sure what they mean either, but I'm sure that as events go on, things will start to make sense. Also you should not tell anyone, for it may freak them out. At least not yet." She suggested. 

"True, that would be wise and probably right." You considered. Everyone already has enough on there plate.

"Of coarse it's right, I said it." She says, her usual confidence returning. You smiled. 

Then it almost felt like any other normal day, before you guys knew that any of this demigod stuff was real. You guys started cracking jokes on each other, laughing, talking about our guys's favorite tv show(s), and even started telling minor secrets.

"Ok, who ever says the darkest secret wins." B/f/n proposed. Must be her daughter of Nike thing. Suddenly Leo busts in, "Someone said gossip?!" He says in a teasing/mocking voice. Jaguar popped in behind him, looking annoyed, "Leo, we were supposed to do that after they started sharing! It's more fun that way!" She says in a jokingly whinny voice. Leo laughed. What are they supposed to be? We don't need a pair of Hermes kids running up and down the ship pranking people. (Love ya Hermes kids💜!) 

"Ehem!" B/f/n 'cleared her throat', getting everyone's attention. "What are you doing here?" 

The two looked at each other, as if silently agreeing on what to respond with. You knew it too, and you were ready for what they were going to do next. 

"Bye!" They said in unison, and they tried to sprint to the door.

Keyword: tried.

You jumped into action and swiftly tripped Leo, who tripped Jaguar in the process. You then quickly shut the door. 

"Why don't you guys join us?" You ask them in a sassy tone. Leo groaned and sat up, "really?" He asks in a 'do we have to?' way. "This time who ever says the funniest wins." B/f/n suggested. It could have been your imagination, but for a moment Jaguar paled, but that was quickly replaced with her usual grin, "challenge accepted." Leo was about to protest, but Jaguar already started talking, "B/f/n, why don't you go first?" 

"Ok...one time I accidentally kicked the P.E teacher with a soccer ball, and where the sun doesn't shine too." 

"Oh yeah! I remember that! Everyone was laughing so hard, his face was priceless!" You exclaimed. 

Once everyone settled down, for everyone started laughing after that, it was B/f/n's turn to pick someone. 

"Hey Leo, your turn."

Leo scrunched his face in concentration, "Well let's see...one time I had to create a fan girl club just to get a piece of Celestial Bronze. It's a long story." 

"Please tell!" Jaguar, B/f/n, and you begged. Come on, it sounds hilarious.

"...and then we made it back on the ship, the looks on everyone's faces were priceless!" Leo finishes. By the time he finished, everyone was on the floor laughing. 

"Jaguar, how about you?" Leo asked. Still kind of laughing at his own memory. 

"I guess I had a few...one time in third grade the class bully pushed me and my friend out of the line for the water fountain, and cut infront of us. We pushed back in behind them, they didn't notice until it was their turn to drink, so they pushed my friend to the ground, I got super mad, and suddenly the water fountain exploded water all over them, making the whole class laugh at them for the rest of the week!" Everyone laughed, but they also felt bad for her the reason why it happened. 

"Ok y/n, your turn." Jaguar states.

"Oh, um...(insert funniest memory cause your author is to lazy)

By the time you finished, everyone was cracking up on the floor. 

"I don't know, it would have to be a tie between yours and Leo's." B/f/n finally managed. 

Leo suddenly asked, "Hey, what time is it?" You told him it was about lunch time. 

"Welp. Sorry kids, the amazing chief Leo has duties to attend to." With that he got up and left. 

After he left, you guys started talking of some more embarrassing moments when suddenly the ship's alarm went off. 

You looked at each other, then ran off towards the deck.
