Battle with a 20 foot Cyclops (Chapter 15)

Hey guys, just wanted to give a shoutout to @CheyPaigefanfic for giving me an idea of what to write for that last chapter, and a shoutout to @Cdyer4648 and @JaguarJungle14 for suggestions, and @whatifsoupernateral for commenting and supporting! Ok, I will let you get back to your demigod adventure...

Everyone charged towards the clearing where the roaring came from. The scene before them was definitely unexpected. You looked at everyone else and saw that they too were comprehending the scene infront of them. You see a fourteenish, maybe even fifteen, year old girl facing down and challenging a 20 foot cyclops with a...bobby-pin? A small one at that. She threw another insult at the cyclops, "Hey pin head! When was the last time you took a shower?! You reek worse than the deepest depth Tartarus!" Ouch. That had to hurt.

Then a load ROAR brought you back into your senses and you felt a faint glow around you. You knew that it was Moirai at work again. Looking down at the double mettle blade, you felt a wave of courage wash over you. You begin to strategize, that being a gift from Athena. You saw a way to defeat the cyclops, but it was risky. You looked over at your friends and found David's eyes, he knew that you had a plan and nodded his head in encouragement. You told everyone your plan in a whisper, they nodded. Once everyone was in place, you stepped into the clearing infront of the cyclops, for you are the distraction. 

You ordered the girl into the bushes, she was hesitant at first but obliged. But before she did, she turned towards the cyclops and said "Ta!" Then using a power you kept hidden, the glow around you increased in brightness and heat. Being a daughter of Apollo, you somehow had the power of the sun. This made the cyclops look away from you. Just as planned. Your friends then attacked the cyclops from all sides, everyone except Nico, who was helping the girl get to camp safely. He sensed that she was a demigod, whatever sent a demigod has. Guess he is now part satyr. 

Looking at the battle scene infront of you, you begin to think. Maybe...just maybe. You begin to concentrate hard. Suddenly everything around you was in slow motion, literally. You were the only one moving at normal speed. You couldn't believe it! It worked! You can actually call on the power to slow down time! You took advantage of this and began to charge at the cyclops, climbing up to his smelly face. That girl was right, he needed a shower, big time. Soon you stood eye to eye with the cyclops. Only now you felt weaker, calling on this much power was exhausting. The cyclops seemed to sense this and in slow motion, he managed to break out of the time warp he was in. But everyone else was still in slow motion!

"You. I will be honored killing you. For you are more powerful than you can imagine! You will leave me with a full belly for a month! But powerful me can squish you like a pea! You think you can really defeat me this easily?!" He sneered. No time to waist. 

"Yes, I do." Was your only reply when you drove Moirai into the cyclops eye, blinding him. His wounds that your friends below were making stopped healing.

With a final roar, he started to crumble into dust. That is when you realize that you are 20 feet in the air! You yelped when the only part of his face holding you up turned into dust. Leaving you suspended. You started to fall, bracing yourself for impact when you suddenly feel arms wrap around your waist. You instinctively clung onto the person, when suddenly you were just suspended at 10 feet from the ground. You looked up at the person to see it was David! His eyes were closed in deep concentration. Then slowly, the two of you floated to the ground. Once you touched the ground, you realized that you were still clinging onto David! You started to let go but David still wasn't letting go. You two were away from everyone else, leaving you to deal with David. 

Suddenly you hugged him, tight. Then mumbling into his shoulder, he was a little taller than you, you thanked him gratefully. 

"I'm not going to let the person I care most for fall out of the sky, when I can catch them first."  He whispered into your ear. You felt your face heat up a little. Then you heard b/f/n calling your names and you let go. So did David. You noticed his cheeks were tinted pink, was he actually blushing?!

You pushed the thought aside and walked into the clearing first. Only to be tackledn to the ground by the daughter of Nike, giving you a bone crushing victory hug. You laughed and managed to pry her off of you. Annabeth walked over to you, with Percy trailing behind her. "Nice planning y/n, I couldn't have done better myself." This was one of the biggest compliments of your life! You hugged her and thanked her for her help. Percy gave you a grin and high fived you. Once they walked away hand in hand (yep, the author is fangirling right now), Piper trotted over. "Hey nice fighting y/n!"

"Thanks! But that was super tiring. How do guys do this all the time?!"

Piper chuckled, "adrenaline I guess, but of coarse we black out here and there." She shrugged. "So are you and that David kid a thing?"

For some reason this made you blush slightly. "Oh...um...no?" This made her grin. 

"Don't worry, the time will come!" Piper said. You called after her as she skipped away towards Jason and David, who were talking, "The time for what?!"

"For my ship to set sail!" Was all she said before talking to Jason. 

"Ok then..."

"Hey y/n!" You turned to find Hazel and Frank. Not that you disliked the others, but you really liked Frazel (sorry! I had to!!!😅), they were quite and sweet. They were everyone's brother and sister, it was hard not to like them.

"Hey Frank! Hey Hazel!" You greeted them with a hug. "Good job out there, you couldn't even tell you just arrived last week!"  Exclaimed Frank. "And really brave too!" Hazel added. You thanked them and smiled. They don't hate me after all! Take that Kronos! Then you could have sworn you heard a cold laughter. Your mind shut up after that. "We should go to camp and check on the new camper." You suggested. They nodded and started walking towards camp, you and everyone else followed. Little did you know, everyone had the same question on their mind. 

Who was that girl?
