"Ugh!" You screamed in frustration.
You were currently trying to pack for the quest. Key word, trying. You have never been on any quest before so you don't know what you need to bring. The Apollo cabin was still empty, everyone was still eating breakfast, so you had no one to ask advice. Wait...
Advice.
You knew who you needed to ask, so you dropped your backpack and walked over to the Athena cabin, hoping she left breakfast early too. You knocked on the door, and thankfully it opened.
Annabeth was standing at the door with a kind smile on her face. "Oh hey y/n! Do you need anything?"
"Oh yes, big time." You started explaining your uh, packing situation. Afterwards she chuckled, "I assumed you would ask about that sooner or later, well you got 10 days, so I suggest bringing some extra jeans and t-shirts, but no pjs, as comfy as they are. You definitely want to bring a good amount of ambrosia and nectar. A reusable water bottle is good, and you guys might each want to bring a lot of granola bars, or power bars. You want at least 20 mortal dollars and some drachmas. I could even lend you a demigod safe laptop that Leo made for us for information. Speaking of Leo, you guys will be riding Festus, who can transform into the Argo 2, you'll see. So you guys don't have to worry to much about monsters or camping out for that matter, but it is always wise to bring an extra first aid kit. Other than that I think your good to go. May the gods be with you on this one." She handed you the laptop and sent you on your way to your cabin. You were really grateful for the advice.
Once you had everything together, you headed over to the lake where everyone is suppose to meet. Along the way, you mentally recited the prophecy.
Seven shall go to water's beginnings
To return the item of fear once missing
Light shall tumble to darkness bolden
To the Four heads to seek the golden
One to free from it's broken cage
A promise to fulfill to live another age
Sun's daughter's choice must be made
The hero to cherish or fade.
You already knew what three of those lines meant. Water's beginnings is Jaguar's birthplace in South Dakota, the item of fear is Hades's helm of darkness, and sun's daughter's choice is your choice wether to take up on Kronos's deal or refuse. The other lines really confused you. Light shall tumble to darkness bolden. What does that mean?! What is the Four heads?! What really got you was how you were supposed to free something from a broken cage. It is already broken! Can't it escape?! The hero to cherish or fade. What does that mean?! Is someone going to die!!! You were so lost in thought that you didn't realize that you arrived at the spot, and almost fell in the lake!
Thankfully, you remained dry, and looked around you. You then see b/f/n, Zion, and Nico come into the clearing up towards you talking. They notice you and came jogging over, well except Nico, he just walked faster.
"Hey guys, are you all packed and ready to go? Where is Jaguar, David, and Leo with our transportation?" You asked. You looked at them only to see them gawking above your head. Confused, you turned around to see what everyone was looking at, it was a frantic looking David flying in the winds towards you guys.
"Ha! Sorry guys, kinda had a late start and still needed to pack." He said with an embarrassed face.
"As long as you made it Peter Pan." You say with a playful smirk. He in turn let out a sarcastic sigh.
