Camp Half Blood x reader

All together...right? (Chapter 38)

David was terribly confused. The first thing he knew is that he was captured in a net with two grumpy gods by a couple of dracaena. The next thing was he knew he was being carried off in the same net by a cyclops, who appears to be following a group of monsters that were doing anything but what they said they would do. 

'What the Hades is happening?' he wondered. 

None of them spoke as they bolted out of the tunnel and into the light. David had to blink a few times for his eyes to adjust to the sudden light. He's been in the dark for what seemed like forever, he was afraid he might become blind due to this sun set. 

Sun set. 

  'How many days has he been down there? How many days left of the quest? Did the others make it? How was he going to get back to the others?' He wondered. 

Then it suddenly accured to him that the gods next to him were calm, they weren't grumbling or wriggling, trying to escape. Why?

Suddenly the cyclops gently put the net down, freeing the prisoners. David stood up eruptly, pulling his sword from his pocket. The two gods however, rose gracefully to their feet, glowing with power and...pride. Their godly powers have returned to them. The 'monsters' bowed respectfully. 

"No need to disguise yourselves now heroes, you have done a victorious job." Said the now full grown Nike. She almost looked motherly...but that means...

With a smooth movement of her hand the air around the group shimmered, causing the trick of the Mist to wear off. There stood seven demigods. David dropped his sword and ran, wrapping his arms around the one he needed most.

Y/n hugged back with just as much need and emotion. They cried into each others arms. When they finally released, Zion tackled David in a huge bear hug...or goat hug? 

Meanwhile everyone else welcomed back David, y/n felt a warming and comforting presence behind her...

Different POV: 

You turned around to find the very person you wanted to meet your entire life. The very person you longed to know. The very person you wished was there. The very person you were mad at for leaving your mother behind without a trace. 

When you turned around you met the warm gaze of your father, Apollo. 

You were never sure how this moment would be like. You were prepared to blow up in his face for leaving you and your mom, you were prepared to hide any feeling towards him at all. 

You were not however, prepared to cry. 

With all of these mixed emotions about him. You shattered, you broke apart infront of him. 

He inturn envelopes you in a hug to comfort you. This shocked you because the gods don't usually do human contact, especially with their kids.

You hugged back anyway.

When you pulled away, Apollo put a loving hand on your shoulder.

"Y/n, what you did back there was amazing! You grew up to be a very clever, smart, beautiful girl.  I know it seems like I wasn't there, but I was. I always kept an eye on you and your mom. I'm proud that your my daughter and nothing can change that. I'm proud of you, and so I must warn you that you still have many troubles ahead. Whatever happens, you must be the one to stay strong, if you fall apart, so will they."

You nodded. But something bothered you. 

"Do you know what challenges I have to face?"

He in turn gave a sad smile, "I am the god of Prophecies, I know what things are to come, but not always. I see you will have to face betrayal and challenges so in depth, that I'm afraid to see what lays ahead for you. So all I can say to you is that watch who you trust and keep David close, he's the one that will make or break you." 

You were shocked none the less, but you still managed to give a small grin. 

"Do you mean it? When you said you always looked out for me and mom?"

He flashed a bright smile, "Yes, of course I mean it. I like to keep an eye on most of my children, but you really caught my attention. You are more special and talented then you realize. Don't try to hide away anymore, you must shine." 

"Thank you." And you ment it sincerely. You finally met the guy you always asked about, and here he is...being the father that was missing finally found.

"Don't worry kiddo, I believe in you, the others do too, now you must believe in you. I hope to see you at Olympus when this quest is over, we can have time to chat some."

And with that he flashed into a ball of light, you turned away of course, until it dissipated into nothing. 

You turned to see that Nike was talking to B/f/n. But it seemed nothing like the conversation you had with Apollo. They seemed to be arguing. B/f/n was fuming, waving her arms around and she looked on the verge of tears. Nike on the other hand looked...desperate. Suddenly b/f/n's face darkened and she turned away. Nike looked sad, as if she just lost the most precious thing to her, which is saying a lot. She too turned into a mini supernova and vanished. 

You decided to leave her be, let her clear some thoughts that may be really troubling her until she can confront them. You looked over to see David, Nico and Nathen chatting, probably comparing stories. But there was one problem...

You guys were still at the entrance. 

"Hey guys! We need to get down, we are still at the entrance."

"Hey no worry's! Just hang on and hold a sec!" A loud voice boomed on them mountain top. It was Apollo.

Suddenly you felt a pulling sensation in your gut. You closed your eyes in a sudden act of vertigo.  When you opened your eyes however, you were not where you were when you had closed them.

You guys have been teleported back to the Argo II. Meanwhile Festus was going crazy with whistles and clicks. 

"Holy Hades we need to get going!" Leo exclaimed as he bolted towards the steering. 

"Finally I'm rid of him! I need to enjoy this moment correctly! Need to grab some ice cream and Harry Potter bye!" Jaguar rushed off.

Nico shrugged. "I need a nap. Bye." He stumbled below deck to rest.

"I'll just go to my room." Nathen stated and went off.

That left you with b/f/n, Zion, and David. 

"So, it's just us four huh?" Zion laughed.

"Yep, it's so hard to believe how far we've come. I almost can't remember what it was like to be in the world of mortals." B/f/n stated, laughing also.

"Look at how much has changed, yet it feels the same when we are together." David added.

"But at least we are all together...right?" You say with a small smile.

You all laughed in agreement and gave each other a group hug before heading separate ways...well almost.

David walked into your room, which you immediately greeted him with hug. All you needed to do was hold on to him and keep him close, as if he would dissolve into the Mist.

But that moment was immediately ruined when you suddenly let go, closed the door, and got up right in his face and exploded. 

"David Write if you ever leave me like that again I swear to the gods of Olympus that you will very much regret it!!! I swear!!! If you ever do that again I'll...mph!" You were cut off when he bent down and started kissing you passionately. You melted into the kiss and kissed back with just as much passion. 

He broke away, "you don't know how much I wanted to do that." He slightly panted. You smiled.

"I think I know now."

He laughed, "can I stay here? For a little bit longer?"

You figured he was scared to be alone, who knew what he went through in that dungeon.

"Sure."

And so with that you guys spent the rest of the night cuddling.
