Great. Just great. You were currently fighting off some maniac birds with razor sharp beaks. A great way to start your morning right? Wrong. You had just left for the quest several days ago, and everything was going just fine, no monsters, no problems, no nightmares... that is until this morning.

You where just hanging out on the deck, not really expecting anything to happen. It was your "watch shift" so you were supposed to be looking out for monsters and that kind of stuff. Fun.

Anyway, you where just on your demigod laptop, doing whatever you were doing(we have our different interests, virtual art is fun😋) when suddenly a letter floated down from the clouds and landed on your lap saying no need to do this, we've gotten it taken care of, have a cookie. The gods.

Just kidding. Instead, you saw a large, dark flying mass coming towards the Argo 2. At first you thought it was just a dark rain cloud. Then you realized it was moving much to quickly to be a cloud. As you studied more, you realize it was a flock of little black birds. Hundreds of them. You still didn't think they were anything to be concerned about. Until they started circling your ship like a pack of hungry wolves. That and also the way there sharp looking beaks glinted dangerously in the light of the rising sun. So you hurriedly went to activate the ships alarm system, and you did it, but only to have your face high five the floor...you had tripped over one of b/f/n's laurels. Seriously?!

You slowly got up, groaning due to your face, you managed to pull out Moirai and got into a fighting stance, leaving you were you currently were,  trying to remember what these birds are and how to defeat them.

You muttered a curse under your breath, wishing everyone else would come to your aid, and soon. You were just about to do something out of the ordinary when David came up, looking frantic and as if he just hopped out of bed, his already wild hair now extremely wild.

"About time Sparky, we are about to be skewered by maniac songbirds."

"Skewered? I love being skewered in the morning!" He states sarcastically. You rolled your eyes playfully, despite the chaos happening around you.

Pretty soon everyone was up on the deck, all looking frantic and like they've just woken up and with weapons at hand. You heard a shink next to you as you watched David's sword appear from his pocket. You thought it was pretty cool that all David had to do was think of his sword and the weapon will suddenly materialize from any pocket he has!

You looked hopefully at your friends, but somehow knew that fighting this many birds with the weapons you have, it wasn't going to work. You needed...

"Music."

"What?!" David looked at you like you lost your mind.

"We need music, load music. It's one of the only ways to scare them off!"

"Maybe Festus can put on a jam." Leo suggested. Everyone nodded in agreement. So while you and everyone else swiped hopelessly at the birds, Leo went to Festus's head and said something.

You were about to tell Leo to hurry up when suddenly load beats started blasting from unseen speakers. You, being a daughter of Apollo, recognized the song immediately. It was Stayin Alive by  Bee Gees. Ha!

Everyone stopped swiping at the birds, who were visibly confused, and looked at Leo.

"What?!" He asked innocently. Everyone rolled their eyes.

"Hey Leo, turn up the music, the birds are only confused, not running...er flying away." Jaguar suggested.

Leo asked Festus to crank up the music. Soon, the deck of the Argo 2 was filled with the song and everyone covering their ears, watching the birds go even more crazy than they are. The smartest thing that you've seen these birds do was get as far away from the song as possible. Just like that, it was just you, the other six, and a song as load as the ones at your middle school dances.(*shivers)

It took a while, but Leo finally got the music to shut off. Everyone relaxed a little. You walked over to Zion, who was currently holding a baseball bat in his hands.

"Where did you get that?!" You asked, curiously.

"Hm, oh this? I actually found it in the room I'm staying in. You won't believe the weapons I found down there! There were a lot of martial art weaponry, magazines, and movies. Along with some kick boxing magazines. And by the smell of it, it was a satyr that inhabited that room before me. Wonder who it was." Then Zion walked over to b/f/n, probably hoping she wouldn't ask the same question.

Everyone was talking together, and hanging out, as if they didn't just finish a battle with maniac birds, they almost looked like normal teenagers, minus the weapons. You soon realized something.

Where was Nico Di Angelo?

Hehe, sorry I kinda fell off the face of the earth there, but no worries. I'm trying to get back on track with life right now, so it has been kinda hard for me, but I believe things should get better from here. So here is another chapter, and hopefully the next won't take as long to make😝And one last thing.
