David's POV:

I watched as the killer birds flee from the load music. I swear, if the music was turned on any higher, I would become deaf. Thankfully I saw Leo run over to Festus and the music turned off. Where was the music coming from anyway?!

I looked over at y/n. She was currently talking to Zion, who was holding a baseball bat. Weird.

Y/n was just standing and talking, but she was a goddess. She was glowing like rising sun, her smile was enough to make the whole world stop and stare for a while, and the way her hair flowed in the wind, she was just perfect. I was about to walk over to her when someone behind me said, "your staring."

I whipped around to find Nico standing off to the side. I heard he didn't smile often, but there was a tint of one forming across his lips. "So...you and her are together?" He seemed to grin more as he said this. "Oh...uh yes." I know that y/n wanted to keep the relationship secretive, but for some reason Nico got it out of me. I think I can trust him. "She's a smart choice, you two go well together, now all you have to do is not do anything stupid." I think he was trying to make a joke, but nevertheless, it is good advice. "Thanks. I'll keep that in mind." He nodded in satisfaction and left the deck.

Now where was I? Oh ya, I was going over to my beautiful girlfriend. But as I'm walking over she exits the deck, so I try to follow her but Zion stops me just as I'm about to exit too.

"Hey David! You gotta check this out!" He says excitedly. Not wanting to hurt his feelings, I respond "sure Z."

Good news, we exit the deck.

Bad news, we pass y/n's room.

Instead, we go to the room at the end of the hall.

I found myself standing infront of a menacing looking door. Was this Zion's room?! I doubted it. But nevertheless, he opens the door and says, " This is my bedroom."

I was surprised what I found inside.

The walls were decerated with all types of martial art weaponry that I couldn't name, I'm not a child of Ares ok. The bed looked comfortable enough, but it also looked to be stashing other weaponry under it. The room also contained a couch and a tv. The shelf under the tv contained any martial art movie one can think of. It also had a schedule of all the boxing match times. What's weirder (is that a word? Welp, it is now😝) is that the place smells of goat. And gym clothes.

"Dude look! There's even air hockey! Wanna play a round or two?" Zion offers me. And me being a good friend said "bring it on!"

Le time skip brought to you by a dam T-shirt🙃

Ok, so this is how it went down.

Round one I let my guard down, so the game was ten to twenty seven, so Middlestone won that one, easily.

Round two was harder. I didn't just give up like I did in that last round. I went harder on him, which worked the first couple of times, but he then he really pushed me. That one was sixteen to seventeen, he won again.

Round three was challenging, I don't want to explain it but that one was ten to seven. I won;p

I looked at the clock, it was about lunch time.

"Hey Zion, it's almost lunch, so I'm just going to go to my room. Good game man."

"Good game, see ya!"

I went down the hall, but I passed my room.

Instead I went to y/n's room hoping she was in there. She wasn't. So I decided to wait.

Here I am now, it is closer to lunch so I'm sure she is not coming in here, so I decided to wait up on the deck.

Nobody seemed to be up there, so I decided to lean up against the wall, I am pretty tired from that match with Zion.

Big mistake.

Alarms started blaring loudly and sirens sounded. Everyone ran up to the deck with weapons ready.

I had leaned up against the alarm system. I hid my face in my hands in embarrassment.

"Uh false alarm guys, go get your lunch." I herd y/n say. Ugh, even her voice drives me crazy!

I heard many footsteps walk away, probably everyone getting lunch, not happy about my mistake. But I heard a pair of footsteps walk towards me. I looked up from my hands only to for my eyes to meet the ones of my girlfriend. "What happened?"

"I accidentally leaned up against the alarm." I admit. She let out a chuckle.

"Come on Joe Cool, let's get lunch." She says.

"Ok, but one thing first." I stated with a grin.

"What?"

"This." I leaned down and gave her a soft kiss. She kissed back with just as much passion.

After a minute or two we broke apart for oxygen. "Now we can go Sunshine." I say as I take her hand and practically dragged her to the dining area, probably grinning like a maniac.
