Chapter 17

Fight
VINISHA

I'm at my school. Only 1 week is left for winter vacation. I'm desperately in a need for a vacation.

Today, countless number of eye contacts happened between me and Aryan in every class. He was looking at me, I was looking at him. I was turning my face to avoid him but he was not. He was constantly staring at me and I was not able to focus on what teacher was teaching.

It's our breaktime now. Me and Meera are walking & talking in the corridor.

"So, what are your plans for winter vacation?" Meera asks.

"Nothing, just staying at home, completing projects, studies and.... that's it." I answer.

"Seriously, you don't do any fun."

"What should I do for fun?"

"Make a boyfriend!" She cheers.

"Meera.... don't start it again. You make a boyfriend for yourself."

"Who's gonna become my boyfriend?" She pouts.

"Kushal is there." I say and smile.

She smiles too. "He doesn't talk much. He's always busy with his studies. Sometimes we do make eye contacts in school & tuition. But he doesn't say anything, he just.... smiles."

I chuckle. "You both are gonna make a nice pair. Introvert boy & extrovert girl! Silent boy who always listens and talkative girl who always talks."

"Hmm.... and in your case it's just vice-versa. You are an introvert and a good girl. And your Bunny is an extrovert and a bad boy." She says.

I blush & smile.

Suddenly, we hear some yelling & howling from outside. One boy came running in the corridor. He seems excited. He was telling everyone that a fight is going on in the playground. 

Everyone started heading towards the playground to see the fight. Me and Meera too, went there to see what's exactly happening. 

A huge crowd was gathered in the playground. Everyone was enjoying the fight scene and was cheering Aryan's name. 

We somehow made our way through the crowd. The scene happening before me was horrifying. I guess there were almost 15 boys fighting. Some were from the Science section and some from the Commerce section.

Science Vs Commerce!

I saw Aryan in the fight group. He was very angry. He was hitting & punching Ayush's face, a boy from Science section. I've never seen Aryan like this. He was throwing all of his aggression on Ayush and was cursing him with inappropriate slangs. 

Our school principal and many of our male teachers came to stop the fight. It was all looking like a movie fight scene. I mean, there have been many fights in this school. But none of them were like this. It was looking so horrible. 

Aryan was not at all guilty for what he did. Sir was shouting at him. All the boys were summoned at the Principal office.

Suddenly his eyes collided with mine. When he saw me, his aggressive and rageful face turned calm. Sir was pulling him towards the office. All the way towards the office, he didn't even dared to remove his eyes from mine.

He was looking at me apologetically and I'm sure he was embarrassed about the fact that I saw him like this.

Everyone was looking at him but his eyes were only looking at her.
