When I started liking her...!

"You know there's a really cute girl who lives right in front of my house." Zain tells us.

"Ohooo! Really? Approach her then." I grin and nudge him.

"She is new in our society. It's been already few months of her family shifting here. The problem is she rarely comes out of her house. Even if I wanna talk how would I do that?" He says.

"You know her name?" Neil asks.

"Yeah," Zain smiles and nods. "Inaayat. Inaayat Khan. She is very beautiful. And...Oh God! She is just so beautiful." He exhales a deep breath and closes his eyes for a second.

"Abey tujhe pyaar toh nahi hogya? Haa! Haa! Blushing. See he's blushing." I grin and point at his cheeks.

"Aryan!"

We all jump on our bench when Shalini Ma'am loudly calls out my name.

"Why are you talking?" She asks angrily. "I am teaching here and you are laughing with your friends."

"Nooo! Ma'am. It's not-"

"Stand up." She abrupts me. I sigh deeply and rise from my bench.

Everyone in the tuition were already looking at me. I even felt more embarrassed when I saw Vinisha turning back and looking at me.

"Ma'am I was paying attention." I say in a low voice.

"Oh really? Then tell me what's the atomic number of Chlorine." She questions.

"Uhh..." I scratch my head and lazily glance towards the board to see if she has written the answer there.

"I haven't written anything on board. I was repeating the atomic numbers and periodic table again & again but you were not listening." She scolds.

"I was, Ma'am." I pout.

"Then tell me the answer." She demands.

"Search in the book, Neil." Zain whispers to Neil. "Search fast."

"Yeah, yeah, I am." He whispers back while turning the pages of his book under the desk. "Where the hell is the periodic table? Wait a sec, what the hell is this periodic table?" He glances at Zain.

I rub my cheek and sigh deeply at his stupid question. They can't even do one thing for me.

"Uhh...Ma'am, the atomic number of Chlorine is...uh..." I gulp and look here & there.

What do I do? Shit!

I sigh again and unknowingly my gaze shifted towards Vinisha. Our eyes met and that's when she lip sync seventeen to me.

"Seventeen?" I said aloud while following her lips.

She smiled softly and nodded slightly.

Meanwhile Shalini Ma'am sighed and nodded too. "Was that a guess or what?" She asked me.

"No, no, Ma'am." I looked back at her and shook my head. "Seventeen. Seventeen is the answer."

"Hmm, good." She nodded. "Focus on the board and don't talk among your friends." She said before turning back to the black board.

I sighed in relief and sat back on my bench. I moved my gaze back at Vinisha but by now she had already turned back towards the board.

She fucking smiled at me! Can you all believe that? On top of that she helped me! She told me the answer!
