Chapter 5

Maths Class
VINISHA

It's been one week since I saw Rohan.

I and Meera tried to find him at the fest. But we miserably failed and it was all because of Aryan.

If he had not distracted me I could have found Rohan and stalked him all the way through the fest.

At least my eyes got one minute of admiration of his sight. That was enough for me.

"Vinisha." I heard Kushal's voice behind me.

I was in my Mathematics class. Our subject teacher was absent today. So, Sarika Ma'am got our substitution. She was busy doing her own work. She told us to do whatever we wanted to but with silence.

There were only 15 students in here. The rest were bunking outside. I was sitting all alone while Kushal was sitting behind me when he called me.

"Yes." I turned around to look at him.

"I am not able to solve one sum. Help me out, please." He requested while scratching his forehead.

I nodded and immediately stood from my place to sit with him on his bench.

Looking down at his notebook I saw a question of Standard deviation which he was unable to do. I solved it in no time and then also explained it to him.

"Wow! You are so good at Maths." He praised and smiled softly.

"Pretty much." I smiled back.

"Are you free right now?" He asked politely. "Even if you are not then it's fine."

"No, it's not like that. I am free. Tell me." I answered.

"Please, can you solve other sums with me? I am having a little problem with this particular chapter. It will be good if you will be there to help me." He insisted while squeezing his eyes which I found really innocent.

So I said yes and we started to solve the sums together while others were chatting, laughing and giggling.

Practicing would make my Maths more stronger, that was a plus point for me. For Kushal, having a study partner who could solve his doubts was a plus point.

"I wanted to ask one question." He says nervously.

"Hmm, what is it?"

"Meera is single, right?" 

I smile at him. He was acting too innocent. He scratches his head and then adjusts his specs. 

"Yes, she is single."

"Oh.... Okay" He was relieved with my answer.

"You like her?" I ask.

"No.... no... I don't. I was just....." He stammers and blushes.

"It's okay. I understand." I assure him.

"Please don't tell her."

"Okay. Actually you should be the one confessing her that you like her."

"I can't Vinisha. I'm not her type. She has a bad boy type. She likes Aryan. Isn't it? She has a crush on him, right?"

"Yeah she do. She has a crush on every bad boy of our school." I nod my head

"I knew it. She won't date anyone like me."

I chuckle. "It's not like that. You're a really good boy, Kushal.

He smiles and says. "You know what, I downloaded Instagram and I followed her. She followed me back."

"Sounds great. You took one step. You should give more efforts."

"I can't yaar. She is really cute. The way she smiles, the way she flirts. She is so adorable. This is the problem." He huffs. "I'm an Introvert. I can't confess my feelings towards her."

"I understand, it happened with me too. I can relate."

"Really? Who was that lucky guy?"

I blushed. My cheeks turned pink when he asked me about him. "Forget it. He has left our school."

"Oh.... so.... you too... didn't made it."

"Hmm" I hum. I really regret that why I didn't made it.

Kushal was chuckling and I was blushing thinking about Rohan, when my eyes met Aryan's eyes. He was sitting on the last bench with his backbencher group.

He was looking at us and was kind of angry when he saw me and Kushal laughing. He turned his face, breaking our eye contact.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with this boy. And why the hell was he so angry? Is he jealous? That I don't pay any attention to him. And now, I'm laughing & giggling with one of the nerdiest boy of our class.
