Chapter 39

I Like You Aryan!

"What are you doing here?" I whisper shouted. But then realized that my window is not yet opened.

I quickly open the window and shockingly stare down at her.

She looks up at me and smiles brightly, showing her perfectly white teeth and dimple over her cheeks. She was wearing black zipped hoodie with blue jeans and white sneakers.

"Hii!" She waves at me.

"What are you doing here?" I whisper, loud enough to be heard by her.

"I came here to meet you." She answers and then throws the small stones on the ground that she used to hit my window.

"But.... how... I mean why.... I mean look at the time." I stutter.

She points on the other side of the boundary wall surrounding my house.

When I look out, I see Zain on the other side with his bike. He smiles at me like an idiot and waves his hand.

I scrunch my eyebrows together as I was confused as hell.

What's going on man?!

"I came here with Zain." Vini's sweet voice grabs my attention.

I again look at Zain with raised eyebrows. He raises both of his hands in defence and says. "She requested me to bring her here. As she didn't knew your address."

"But look at the time. It's 12 midnight." I grit my teeth.

"You were ignoring me." Vini's sweet voice again grabs my attention.

She folds her arms against her chest and pouts at me.

"Yeah, you were ignoring me too." Zain shouts from there.

I blink my eyes at both of them.

"You ignored his calls and messages." Vini complains. "I told him to do so. So that you can come out of your damn bungalow." She shouts angrily.

"Don't shout, Cookie." I say softly. "The guard will hear you."

"I don't care." She angrily stamps her foot on the ground. "You never called me or messaged me."

"Even you never called me or messaged me." I snap back.

She pouts angrily. "I was sick. You were suppose to call me. But you just hid yourself here and ignored everyone."

I shrugged and sighed in defeat.

"I'm coming up there." She announces.

"What.... No...." I shout but she doesn't hear and starts looking for something.

Her lips curl up into a smile when she sees a ladder in a corner of the yard. She runs and tries to pick it up.

"Wait, Vini... I'm coming down there. Don't play with that ladder. It's heavy." I express my concern.

But she doesn't listen and carries it somehow and brings it to my window.

"Oww" She rubs her palms which were red now.

"Vini.... why would you do that?" I whisper.

She looks up at me. "What? I even climbed that wall for you." She points at the boundary wall.

Soon after, she starts climbing up the ladder.

"Vini! Stop! You will fall." I shout. I look at Zain and found him smiling and enjoying the show. "What are you doing, man? Do something. Tell her to stop." I shout at him.
