Farewell
VINISHA

Finally! The exams are over! Boards are over! Yayy!! Now I have the whole April month to enjoy and relax.

Smiling internally, I make my way out of the Delhi public school, that was our centre for boards.

Once out, I see my schoolmates and many other students of different schools giggling and planning out farewell party outfits. As we have come to the final step of our school life, this particular night will be our last meet up.

Getting out of the crowd, I walk ahead towards the parking area, where I see Aryan and his friends splashing water at each other.

I chuckle softly as I see Aryan laughing and playing with his friends.

When his eyes fall on me, his smile turns wider and he instantly run towards me.

"Vini...baby!" He extends his arms to hug me but I step back and raise my hands.

"No! You are drenched." I chuckle.

"Uh...huh. You see I'm all wet." He smirks and circles his arms around my waist.

"Aryan" I whisper while blushing and look around. "We are in public."

"So what? Let them see how much I love my girlfriend." He whispers and brushes his lips over my cheek.

"Bhabhi!" Neil's voice grab our attention and we both snap our head in his direction. "Let's play water Holi!"

He shouts and opens a bottle to throw water at us.

Just as he threw the water in our direction, Aryan pulled me away along with him and the water splashed on someone else.

I turn and see Meera all drenched in water.

We all gasp together while Neil shivers in horror after seeing what he did.

While Meera who was shocked stares at herself and then at Neil. Her eyes fill with anger and she immediately runs behind Neil with her water bottle.

"You!!!"

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

We all laugh seeing them running all around the streets, throwing water at each other.

"Now it's your turn, bhabhi!" Raghav grins and throws water at me.

"No!" I shout but before the water reached me, Aryan turned us around and the water splashed on his back instead.

I giggle as Aryan leaves me and runs behind Raghav.

"Abey ruk! Where are you running?" Aryan grabs him and smacks his head.

"Aieeee! Okay... sorry... sorry. I won't throw water at bhabhi." Raghav chuckles as they both goes on playfully hitting each other.

Just then my eyes turn wide when I see Neil and Meera coming our way, all drenched with empty bottle in hand.

"What the hell!" I giggle as Meera stands beside me with a blown up face, still glaring at Neil.

"I said sorry." Neil mumbles and grins looking at Meera. She sighs angrily and huffs while folding her arms.
