VINISHA

"But I thought we'll have lunch together." I pout sadly while looking at Ananya.

"I'm sorry na, Vini." She apologizes. "I need to complete this assignment during lunch break so that I can submit it to my professor as soon as possible." She explains while showing me her half complete assignment.

"But now I have to go to the cafeteria all alone." I say.

"Just for today. Pleaseee." She side hugs me squeezes her eyes. "You can have lunch with your classmates."

"No! I don't want to."

"Why?" She asks.

I huff and fold my arms. I don't do lunch with the girls of my class because they all are always with their boyfriends and I feel jealous while looking at the couples around me.

That's why I only have lunch with Ananya. While being with other groups, I feel this loneliness and out of place. But with Ananya, I feel this comfort and affinity.

"It's fine." I mumble. "I'll be okay. You go and complete your work."

"Okay," She nods. "I'll be in the library."

"Hmm" I hum and nod my head after which she makes her way to the library while I enter inside the cafeteria.

As usual, the cafeteria was filled with students. I sigh deeply looking at the crowd then make my way towards the food counter to order Masala Dosa.

I huff as I see many students making crowd in front of the counter for Dosa. I can't even wait for my turn or else I don't know when I will get to eat my lunch.

But how do I manage to get in between the crowd and make an order for myself?

"Vini?"

I turn around when I hear someone calling out my name.

My eyes widen in shock when I find Rohan standing right in front of me.

"Rohan?"

"Hi!" He greets while smiling at me.

"Uhh...hi.." I press a small smile.

He glances back at the food counter behind me for a second before reverting his gaze back at me. "What happen? Finding difficulty to get in between the crowd and order for yourself?"

"Uh...yeah.." I chuckle lightly. "There's are so many students. I think I'll have to wait."

"What do you wanna eat?" He asks.

"Masala Dosa." I answer.

"So, let me get that for you." He says while smiling.

"What?" My eyes widen again. "No, no, I will manage. You don't have to—"

"Vini, it's okay." He insists.

Before I could say anything further he goes in between the crowd and makes his way to the food counter.

I was left astonished at his sudden changed behavior.

But he did told that he wants to change himself and work on his betterment. Maybe that's what he is trying.

I watch him as places the order and pays the money. After paying, he glanced back at me and gestured me to sit on one of the tables.

I reluctantly nod and sit on the nearest chair beside me. Minutes later, Rohan comes back with two plates of Masala Dosa and sits on the chair across me.
