Commerce fest
VINISHA

I was too nervous today.

I had never spoken onstage. But today, I had to do this. For myself and for my school. Also I was the head volunteer so I had to look up for everyone.

We reached here around 7'o clock. It was 8:30 am right now and the fest would start at 9'o clock.

I must say Loyola was indeed an amiron wala school (Rich School). The campus was so big. So many buildings, beautiful garden, luxurious classrooms, marvelous auditorium. The students here were so smart and confident.

Our De'Nobili high school was nothing in front of Loyola. I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to compete them or not.

There were total of 15 schools participating. I did prepare myself well for business—Oh! No...No... I meant 'Sasta Shark Tank'.

Also, I was dressed well, just like a professional businesswoman. Light pink colour blazer with a white top underneath. A black colour formal pants paired with black heels. I had done a simple ponytail with few hair strands left out on the sides of my cheeks while my face had minimal amount of makeup.

Everything was good yet I felt this nervousness inside me because I had stage fear and social anxiety. Because of which my palms were getting sweaty as I was practicing what all to say on stage again & again.

"Hey Vini!" I looked up when I heard my name and saw Meera approaching me.

"Hi!" I greeted nervously and clutched my papers tightly in my hands.

"You okay?" Her face immediately filled with concern as she saw my not so confident face.

"Yeah, I am fine." I assured her somehow and pressed a small smile. "Did you roam the school with your team?" I asked to change the topic.

"Yes we did. We are all prepared for the treasure hunt." She answered confidently and smiled warmly.

"Okay! Remember the clues will be related to Netflix web series. So, just boost up your mind and win the competition." I said with a soft smile on my face.

"Yes! We will." She giggled and nodded her head.

Sarika Ma'am, our Economics teacher, entered the greenroom to see whether the participants were ready or not.

"Okay kids! Listen to me!" She called everyone. "You all have to give your best. We have to win. Okay?"

Everyone answered aloud with a yes and nodded with determination.

After which she approached me and told me to make sure that everything goes perfect.

God! I hated responsibilities.
