My Childhood
VINISHA

"I'm so exhausted." Aryan mumbles while lying on his bed.

I chuckle softly and admire him through my phone screen. We both are talking via video call.

I am sitting on my study table completing my homework and listening to him as he tells me about his day.

"Our coach is a real asshole. Me and my friends took a break for just five minutes and he started lashing out on us for that." He complains. "Don't we deserve to rest for a bit."

I smile softly while listening to him along with writing my homework.

"Only two days are left for your match. Are you nervous?" I ask and glance at him.

He pouts like a baby. "Nope. I win every match. I have defeated all the schools with my skills. But we have never competed with St. Mary's. I don't know about their strategy. But don't worry, I'll win the match and bring the trophy."

He grins widely which makes his eyes squeeze. He was shirtless lying on the bed. Taking that chance I immediately took his screenshot.

"You will come to my match, right?" He says.

"Yes, I'll come." I smile warmly.

"Hmm" He hums while grinning. "I'll send Neil to pick you up. He will take you to the stadium. And I want you to sit on the front row. Cheer aloud for me." He requests like a kid.

I giggle. "Okay, I'll cheer for you."

I continue writing as he stares me with soft gaze.

After a minute I glance at my phone which was resting against my pen stand. Aryan was lying on his belly, staring me with a smile on his face.

"What?" I chuckle.

"You look so cute while studying." He says.

I blush and lower my eyes.

"I told you everything about my day. Now you tell me. What did you do whole day?" He asks.

"Umm...nothing." I shake my head. "I mean nothing interesting happened. So..." I lift my shoulders.

"Isn't there anything you wanna tell me?"

I smile with my lips pressed and say, "My life is very boring. There's nothing to tell."

He sighs and rest his chin on his forearms. "Okay... when will you sleep then?"

I glance at the clock and see it was 11'o clock at night. "After completing my work."

He yawns and closes his eyes for a second.

"You are tired. You should sleep." I tell.

"No, I wanna talk to you." He shakes his head. "Say something no. Okay, tell me what are you feeling right now?"

I let out a small chuckle and say, "Hungry. I'm craving for cookies. But..."

"But?" He asks.

"Mumma didn't went for shopping. So there are no cookies for me." I pout.

He tilts his head and continues staring me.

I glance up at him then at my notebook. "What happen?"

"Nothing" He slightly shakes his head.

"Sleep then. Or else your health will get worse. You have a very important match after two days. You should rest."

"Okay then." He breaths. "We will talk later."
