Chapter 46

Her Childhood Wish
ARYAN

"No, she can't." Anshika shakes her head and crosses her arms.

"Why?" I question.

"Because Vinisha don't know how to do ramp walk. She didn't even came for auditions." She says.

Right now, me and my ramp walk team members are in a green room.

"We can just give her a chance." I insist. "She really wants to participate."

"But Aryan, I want the best people for this. Even you know that she don't know how to walk on stage."

"So, we can teach her. We have time." I say.

She huffs. "There were many girls who auditioned but we only selected the best ones who knows what to do on stage. Vinisha is inexperienced. You can't just bring her in our team just because she is your girlfriend."

"So we will teach her." Zain speaks in between. "And then you can take her auditions. If you like it then keep her and if not then don't." He says to Anshika.

"She will do ramp walk." I declare. "She will perform with me as my partner. I'm the president so I'll decide everything."

I can do anything to bring her in our team.

"This is not fair, Aryan." My other team mates argue.

"And what do you mean that she will become your partner?" Anshika questions. "I am your partner and we both are the main leads."

"I want to pair with Vini. You can pair with someone else. Let Zain be your partner." I point at him.

"No... no... no. I want to be the centre of attraction. I want to be the main lead. Vinisha can't be your partner." She shakes her head.

I sigh deeply and put my hands on my waist. "Okay... fine then." I stand straight and say, "You and Zain are the main leads from now on. But Vini will stay as my partner only."

"Why are you so eager to bring her in our group?" Anshika demands.

Because that's what she wished for. That's what her childhood wish is. And I'll do everything in my power to fulfill it.

"She always wanted to do ramp walk. So we should give her a chance, no."

"What if she fails?" Anshika asks. "Auditions are already over, Aryan. We will definitely not like to waste our time on someone who don't know how to do ramp walk."

"Just give her a chance, Anshika. That's all I'm asking for. She can perform. She will pass this audition."

"Result is not only based on your decision. I and the teachers in-charge will also decide whether to keep her or not." She says. "Well I know she will fail in this. There's no use in taking her audition. It's a waste of time." She shrugs her shoulders.

I take a deep breath and twitch my jaw. "If she fails, then I will give up my batch." I announce.

Everyone shockingly looks at my way after hearing my declaration.
