Amirah had gathered what was left of Thea's phone as they headed off to class to show her father, much to Thea's horror. Nothing says pathetic like having your brother and best friends have to fight your battles. And Thea knew she was going to hear more about it later. After all, Alpha and his family were coming to her house tonight for dinner.

She arrived home from school about ten minutes before their next-door neighbour Mrs Garner dropped off Willow and Harper. After school, the kids usually went to the pack house and had basic training and playtime with their classmates. Mrs Garner was one of the assistants and took the girls home every day. Today Thea was glad as it gave her a chance to get dinner started and thank the housekeeper for tidying and setting the dining table.

"What are you making?" Harper said as she closed the front door and set her bag and jumper down on the island.

"Steak and potatoes. Do not leave your things there! We have guests arriving any minute. Take those upstairs and go wash your hands." Thea said, turning to give her sisters a quick hug. "Harp, will you take Willow's up too?"

Harper groaned. "I remember when I was the youngest and didn't have to do chores."

Thea rolled her eyes as she put the steaks in the oven and the potatoes to boil. She lifted Willow and get her on the counter. She looked to be huffing. "So, how was your first day at school?"

Willow thought for a moment before answering. "I have to sit beside a boy - Michael. He took his pet worm to class with him." She said as if it was the most normal thing in the world. "We called him Marshall and I painted you a picture." She pulled the page from behind her back.

It was a picture of a red blob, a blue blob and a few colourful squiggles. Thea gasped dramatically "Well I think this is the best picture I have ever been given. You couldn't have drawn this, it's too good!"

"I did! I did!" Willow giggled as she turned the paper around. "This is you and this is me. We are standing under a rainybow."

"Well, you know how I love rainybows!" Thea smiled.

"We got to play outside and I fell and hurted my knee," Willow pouted. "I was blooding and everything!" She gasped.

"Oh, how awful! Let me see," Thea said as her sister swung her leg up on the counter. Harper came downstairs at that moment.

"Was I that dramatic?" She laughed.

"You cried for three days because you lost the bow in your hair," Thea nodded.

Harper looked horrified. "I will put these on the table," she said, lifting the salad and slices of bread and skipping out of the room.

"So let me see your cut," Thea said as she opened the drawer on the island and produced a first aid box. It was an old basket with a lid which was covered in unicorns and Disney stickers. Willow pulled up her dress to show off her war wound. There on her left knee was the proof of her battle, a tiny cut about the length of her fingernail. "Oh, no toots. That looks sore."

"It was," Willow sniffed. "Really, really sore!"

"And were you a brave girl?"

"I was," she puffed out her chest. "The teacher wanted to give me a plaster but I said my sister had special plasters at home and I would get one of them." She smiled. "Can I have a Disney plaster?"

"Of course, you can. You have to get one for being so brave." She opened the lid of the box. "I have Elsa, Anna, Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Tiana -"

"Do you have any Merida ones left?" Willow asked hopefully.

"I do!" Thea smiled as she produced the chosen plaster. "Excellent choice!"
