(I laughed for like twenty minutes straight because of this video ya'll!)
"Anyway..." Chiaki hummed, tapping her chin. "Everybody's here now, right? Then, let's get going... Since... I'm getting sleepy."
You let out a breathy chuckled at her statement. How can she already be sleepy when she's only just woken up?
Byakuya crossed his arms. "You're right. Though I am not quite ready to stop eating breakfast, I should begin my talk."
That took way too long.
Byakuya adjusted his glasses as he continued. "First, I have a question for you all. That Monokuma thing ordered us to kill each other... So under these strange circumstances, what do you think we need right now?"
Fuyuhiko seemed to have mostly recovered from his outburst at Teruteru, his cheeks now only a mellow pink. "Tch. Who the fuck knows? Get to the point already."
"If you want me to get to the point, you better hurry up and answer my question," Byakuya rebutted.
"What do we need?" Akane inquired, "We need food and sleep, obviously, right?"
Nekomaru scoffed. "No... You've forgotten about shitting... Which means the answers are; a good appetite, a good night's sleep, and a good shit!!!"
Byakuya let out an irritated breath as he scanned the room. "Does anyone have a real answer?"
"Could it be... a bond?" Nagito chimed.
"Bond?" Hajime asked.
Nagito nodded and held a hand up to rest his face on. "This is what I believe... As long as the Ultimates work together, there's nothing we can't accomplish... You'll all be able to create a hope that can overcome any despair."
What was this boy talking about? He was speaking as if he had read one of Shakespear's poems, and boy, it was not a good look on him. Something about the way he said just made him sound kind of... delusional. As if he actually believed there was a way out of this situation.
But you knew the truth. You knew the only way out was to kill, and you weren't sure if you would be able to or not. But, now that you thought about it, there were some people here that would make perfect victims.
Ibuki, for one. So bubbly and trusting. You could easily lure her away somewhere to be alone and just off her right there. It wouldn't be hard to clean up the evidence either, depending on your chosen method of murder, of course.
Then there was Kazuichi. He was so paranoid and scared right now, you were sure he wouldn't be willing to follow someone to a private place. But that'd be no issue. If you really tried, you could do it in the same room as everyone else if you had a secure plan. The only issue there would be evidence. You may not be caught immediately, but you were sure that you would be caught either way while Kazuichi was still in this paranoid state of mind. Cleaning up evidence if you killed him any time soon would be an issue.
Hiyoko might be an easy target... With her small size, being the shortest of the entire group, she would find it hard to fight back against you. Though you may not be able to sneak up on the short girl, you would be able to easily overpower her. However, that would show signs of a struggle, and give you unnecessary evidence to clean up.
You could probably sneak up on Teruteru, but you shivered at the thought of touching him in any way, even if it is to kill him.
Sonia would be any easy victim. She trusts easily and is rather optimistic, so you could meet up somewhere alone without struggle. The only issue; you didn't know how strong she was. From her petite stature, she looked as if she would struggle to overpower you, but looks can be deceiving. You might be able to distract her and then attack, as you doubted that sneaking up without a distraction would work. And depending on your method of murder, there could be little to no evidence left for clean-up.
"Hey!" Fuyuhiko growled, snapping his fingers in front of your face as he pulled you from your thoughts. "Are you fuckin' listening?"
You sighed. "Not really, no. What happened?"
He shrugged. "Byakuya was talking and then we noticed that you were kind starin' off into space or some shit."
You nodded, pressing your lips into a line. "Okay... What did you say Byakuya?"
Byakuya shook his head in disappointment. "I said... What we need right now is a disciplined leadership, provided by an unmistakable leader!"
Nekomaru agreed with a bow of his head. "I see... even sports teams need captains after all."
"Rejoice. I shall accept the position," Byakuya announced, crossing his arms. "Now then, I'll wrap up this introduction, and let's move onto the main question."
"Wait just a second!" Mahiru shouted, standing up from her chair and pointing out her finger. "Wh-what did you just say!? I don' care how you excuse it, you're being too forceful! Deciding to be leader all on your own... And why does it have to be you, anyway!?"
Byakuya raised his head in a preposterous manner. "Who is more fit to lead than me? I am the Ultimate Affluent Progeny of the Togami household, destined to stand above all others."
Mahiru's eyes widened. "S-seriously! I'm telling you that attitude of yours is too forceful!"
Nagito took a small step forward. "Mahiru, please wait. It's true that Byakuya may be a little forceful, but given our situation... I believe it's a leader's duty, in circumstances like this, to be a little forceful to a certain degree..."
"That may be true, but..." Mahiru nodded slowly. "If we just need someone who can lead people, then even Sonia can... "
"No," Sonia softly chimed in with a soft shake of her head. "Perish the thought. "I am merely a figurehead."
Nagito smiled. "Well... then he must have the qualities of a leader if he can accept the role under these circumstances."
Mahiru was silent for a moment before sitting back down. "Well... If everyone else is okay with it... I'm okay with it too..."
"Then I guess we've made our decision," Byakuya proudly announced. "Don't worry. As long as I'm the leader, I won't let anyone become a victim. I will guide you all! That much, I promise."
"Kyaa!" Ibuki cheered. "So reliable!"
Byakuya sighed before blinking a few times, adjusting his glasses. "Now then, let's move on to the topic at hand, for real this time... I have something to show you all."
"Something to show us?" Hajime asked with raised brows.
Byakuya nodded before turning and beginning to head down the stairs. "It's at Jabberwock Park on the central Island! Come, follow me!"
And with that, Byakuya made his way down the stairs and out of sight.
