"Huh?" Kazuichi hummed as you approached Monokuma Rock. You had made a quick stop at Fuyuhiko's cottage to put away your things before heading straight to this location.
And speaking of Fuyuhiko... you hadn't seen him since your fight on the beach.
The sun had set by now, sending a chilling, cold breeze through the night now that the heat of the sun had perished.
Kazuichi seemed to be freaking out, as per usual. You had noticed it to be a habit of his since he arrived. "Hey!" He shrieked. "What the heck is that mountain!? W-when did it get there!?"
"Do ever stop panicking?" You mumbled, just loud enough for yourself to hear.
Peko hummed, standing rigid. "That story... That story may be true after all. There might be an enormous organization involved in all of this..."
"You mean..." Hajime began, holding a hand on his chin. "What Byakuya said before right?"
You scoffed, letting out a tch. "No shit, idiot. How else would anyone have the money shape a mountain into Monokuma?"
Sonia sighed. "Byakuya... we still needed his knowledge..."
"I still can't believe he's dead!" Nekomaru choked, clenching his fist.
Ibuki held her hands together as she stared at nothing, practically foaming at the mouth with enlarged pupils. "Byakuya, Byakuya, Byakuya, Byakuya, Byakuya..."
Chiaki tilted her head. "... What... happened to Gundham and Fuyuhiko?"
Crossing your arms, you threw your head back with a groan. "Who cares where Fuyuhiko is? The fucker could be dead for all I care!"
"Don't say that about Young Master," Peko hummed quietly.
You scoffed, looking away from her. "Hey, you. Why are you always falling at his feet, anyway? You in love with him or something?"
Peko's face didn't stray from her emotionless expression, though her cheeks were now coated in a light shade of pink, almost unnoticeable, and she didn't respond. And suddenly, you felt an aching feeling in the bottom of your stomach that your sarcastic comment might have been right on the dot.
You didn't spend forever dwelling on the fact, quickly recollecting yourself with a huff. "Well... I guess that's answered."
"Hey," Chiaki hummed. "I thought you and Fuyuhiko had gotten quite close, have you not?"
"As if," You responded. "He called me fucking insane."
Chiaki slowly nodded. "Oh. I guess I was wrong about it then."
"N-now that you mention it... it appears they aren't here yet..." Mikan quietly observed, scrambling to get her words in order.
Hiyoko, on the other hand, raised her arms and let out a giggle, which turned into quite a loud laugh. "Ah, I know! They probably ran away!"
"Aw hell naw!" The robotic voice of Monokuma appeared, and you had to stop yourself from flinching. His voice was chilling, out of place, even when he said things that were somewhat light-hearted and funny. The bear himself was overall... wrong. "There's no way I'd let them escape; you know! Look! I dragged this one back over here!"
And as you looked to Monokuma's side, you finally noticed that he had been pulling none other than Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu by the ear.
"I-I'm tellin' you! Let me go!" The boy struggled, and the bear chuckled.
"Hey now, if you keep acting violent, I might just eat you up!" Monokuma hummed, and you shuddered.
Mahiru held her hands on her hips and leaned forward. "Hey! Fuyuhiko! What were you doing all this time!?"
