... What the hell... ?

None of this made any sense. Did Monomi really erase all your high school memories at Hope's Peak? That meant... No. You weren't believing this. But... It felt so real. And you couldn't help but fall under its spell as you clenched your fist, clasping your other hand on your now aching wound.

You believed it, and there was no saying you didn't. Because you did.

"How was it?" Monokuma chimed. "Was it funny? Or was the comedy too high-brow for you?"

"Fuck you," You mumbled.

"That's rude!"

Byakuya looked shaken, failing to hide it as he attempted to regain his composure. "Hey! What were you saying just now?"

Monokuma tilted his head. "What I was saying just now...? Oh, you mean when I said that you're school memories were completely stolen?"

"Aha... ahhaaha..." Ibuki nervously laughed, poking her fingers together as a bead of sweat rolled down her face. "There's no way... Cause, I just entered Hope's Peak Academy... and then I was brought to this island... right away..."

"That's because that's how you remember it!" Monokuma giggled. "All thanks to Monomi stealing your school memories..."

Hajime clenched his own fist, planting his feet onto the pavement firmly. ""Wh-what are you saying!? That's impossible!"

Monokuma ignored his remark, only tilting his head in thought. "Man... how many years has it been since you entered Hope's Peak Academy...? I wonder what happened to your friends and family? They're probably worried sick about you... Maybe?"

Your brother... If you had lost all your memories of your four years at Hope's Peak Academy... what the hell happened to your brother!?

You felt your heartbeat quicken as you thought of what could've happened to your elder sibling. Ten years older than you... but you still wanted to protect him. Was he okay?

Nekomaru raised his fist, his eyes glimmering as he hollered out in denial. "Our school memories were stolen!? That's ridiculous!"

"That's right!" Kazuichi shrieked. "There's no way I have memory loss!"

"D-don't!" Monomi cried. "Don't listen to what he says!"

Ibuki's voice was quiet for once as she stepped back. "Blub-blub-blub-blub... Limit reached..."

"I refuse to believe such a thing..." Teruteru murmured. "Yep, everything okay... I don't believe it."

Mikan held her hands close to her chest, tears brimming in her eyes. "Y-you're lying... right? Stealing our memories... That's a lie, right? You're just trying to make fools out of us, right...?"

"Nope! It's not a lie. If it was, then how do you explain this? The moment you arrived at Hope's Peak Academy, you all experienced a strange dizziness..." Monokuma began.

Hajime stepped back, releasing his fist with a gasp. "Wha... H-how do you know that?"

Monokuma giggled, and you shuddered in repulsion. "Puhuhu... Why that's the cut off point.."

"Cut off point?" You asked, narrowing your eyes.

He nodded. "Your memories beyond that point have been completely removed!"

"Wh-what the hell..." The brunette boy mumbled, lowering his gaze to the pavement beneath him.

Mikan let a tear fall down her face, her hands tensed over her mouth. "So... a long time has passed... since then?"
