Your eyes carefully read the words on the Monokuma File that the two-colored bear had given everyone the night before. It was surprisingly detailed and you sighed, giving the bear a silent thanks for simplifying the job.

The victim's body was discovered in the dining hall of the old building near Hotel Mirai.
The estimated time of death is 11:30 p.m.
The victim was repeatedly stabbed over ten times between the throat and abdominal region, resulting in death. Aside from that, the body has no other external injuries, and no chemicals such as poison were detected.
Your eyes fluttered and, taking in a shaky breath, you exited out of the file and turned your E-handbook off, stuffing it back in your pocket.
"Byakuya was stabbed over ten times..." You mumbled.
Ibuki tilted her head and knitted her brows. "What does that mean for the investigation?"
You sighed, pursing your lips as you knelt beside his body, Ibuki hovering behind you. "That's a lot of times to be stabbed. This seems like a rage kill... Whoever did this wanted to make sure he was dead."
"Ohh...." Ibuki hummed. "Does that mean someone had something against him?"
"Dunno," you shrugged. "But that's overkill."
"How do you know what all that means?" Hiyoko humphed. "Have you killed someone, Y/n?"
Your eyes shot to hers, slightly widening as that night came back to you.

Stepping out into the night air, you quietly shut the door behind you as to not alert anyone that you had left your cottage.
As you made your way down the path between cottages, you kept an eye on the nameplates and windows. A few people had their blinds open, but it seemed as if they weren't near it, or were asleep, so you figured you were safe.
Ibuki... Hajime... Fuyuhiko... Peko... Kazuichi... damn it, where was Sonia's?
A cold tap on your cheek made you flinch with a quiet gasp, looking around only to find no one there. "What the fuck?" You whispered.
Another cold tap on your cheek, and you looked up, seeing dark rainclouds making their way toward the cottages. Rain.
"Shit..."
It wasn't a horrible thing... at least you had an excuse to be at Sonia's cottage now. But as you made your way forward, pulling up your hood, you felt the wooden path beneath you become slick with water as the rain picked up. If you needed to run, you were done for.
Eventually, after what felt like forever, like staring at a clock and waiting for something, you caught a glimpse of the blonde girl through the window of a cottage in the distance. As you got closer, you could see what she was doing now. Pulling her back in a low and lazy ponytail, she glanced at herself in the mirror.
You knitted your brows, approaching the cottage and stopping beside the door, you raised a fist to knock but froze. You could have sworn you had heard footsteps out here with you. Looking behind you, you saw an empty wooden path and lit up cottages with rain pattering down onto the roofs.
