12) picture day!
Okay so usually you have two picture days! Both are important, but one goes in your year book and school ID, the others are just some for your parents to buy. You always want to look your best in pictures! These things will last forever... And ever ... And ever...!!!! For your pictures, just make sure your hair is nice, your shirt doesn't clash with the back drop and there's no food in your teeth!and girls don't wear too much make up, I know it my seem silly but really watch some YouTube videos for picture day make up ideas.
13)detentions!
There's a bunch of things that could get you a detention. It can be from cheating on school work, being late, not having your class materials, running in the halls, having your phone out.. I mean really the list goes forever! So recently my friend got a detention, he was running in the hallway to get to class on time, and he ran into the wrong teacher at the wrong time. So he came back to class and he was so mad! I asked him what happened and he told me. But I mean as you can see you can get detentions for silly things. And they really are super boring! At my school they offer morning and after school detentions. And give you up to three days to choose what day you can come. But in detention they don't even let you do homework. And if your doing anything but sitting there doing nothing , they yell at you , give you a warning , and if you keep doing something they might give you another detention to serve. I find them an extreme waste of time! I have never gotten in trouble at school. I never gotten a detention, ISS, or OSS. I'm laid back at school I'm just there to get my work done and hope the day goes by fast. I mean I just stay out of trouble because I don't want to sit there after school doing nothing when everyone else is home. So I just find it best to stay out of trouble, it saves a lot of time. Just do what you have to do there and laugh at the peasants who get punished for doing wrong! Haha! I'm just kidding. But seriously consider it.
14)dances!
School dances can be a lot of fun! At my school there's always a Halloween dance, a valentines day dance, and the 8th grade dance( which as you can tell by the title is only for 8th graders.) The school usually try their best to make it a fun experience, but it all depends on who you go with really. I go with my friends, cause I fine it easy to just let go and have fun with them! I mean if you have boyfriend/girlfriend go with them! Have a blast and enjoy your selfs! Always take pictures, that's something I regret doing, I never really took many pictures. But when your there just remember, it doesn't have to be awkward! I always thought school dances would be all awkward because of slow songs or, I don't really know I just thought they would be all weird. But I have had some great time at school dances! And you can too, just think about who you want to go with as take pictures so you have good memories of the fun night!
