Leave a comment, what are you looking forward the most for you first day?
I know people always wonder what you should bring on the first day. And you know how in elementary, you would bring in all your supplies and keep in it the class room. Well middle school doesn't work like that. Really for your first day, bring a simple pocket folder with a note book, and some pens and pencils. That's all you need. Though you may get a supplies list before school starts, the teachers usually have you get totally different stuff anyways. So when I go school supply shopping I always get a bunch of note books and binders and pens and pencils. The basics. But then I wait till the teachers tell me what I need before I go crazy and get crap I don't need. Plus, some teachers really don't require much. I remember that my history, language and science teacher didn't need anything, so I had 3 classes in an 1 inch binder. And I had a separate folder for math. It made it really easy! I didn't have to carry much. Plus it kept my locker neat.
So don't dress about bringing loads of supplies the first day, just bring a notebook, pocket folder, pens and pencils. And you should be fine!
You might not even need to bring your backpack. I know for my first 2 days of 6th,7th,and 8th grade I never brought a backpack. But the 3rd day, I needed it.
