Topic:

(Boys boys boys!)

So girls! In middle school, you may come across a couple a cute boys! Who you might get a crush on. But don't waste your time on them! They aren't worth it! I mean really what's the point of "going out" with them if all you do is hold hands, hug, and walk each other to class. Seriously! Middle school is the most awkward place for everything! I would see all these girls and guys walking around and it just looks weird. Plus the drama that having a boyfriend causes is ridiculous! One of my "friends", we weren't really close friends, but she was a "prep" and she had a boy friend... She would always be caught in drama. And she was a nice girl. But people would always say stuff and her "boyfriend" wouldn't help really. It was just crazy! I know you might be like "I want a boyfriend" and blah blah blah. But I survived middle school with out any boyfriends. It honestly, it didn't really bother me! I just got to enjoy my friends! And I had crushes. But they were just crushes. I knew once school ended. I would be over them. And I am. So the point is, don't waste your time with boys. And don't be all boy crazy. It just causes drama.

Topic:

(Time of the month)

So all girls get their period at one point. Usually for most it's around the age of when your in middle school. You can have the real "talk" with your parents or trusted adult. But I'm here to tell you that having your period during school can be super annoying. You have to worry about bleeding though, or being prepared. If you get your period unexpectedly, go to the nurses office. They ALWAYS have pads! There not very good pads, but they'll do. Also call your mom or someone to come bring you some real pads. Or if you bleed through new pants or just go home early. Also having cramps during school SUCCCKSS! I get them all the time. And it's not fun. But I suggest taking some medicine to help with them. Also your parents or guardian can bring a note to the nurses office with some meds that will help. So when you get cramps you can just go to the nurses office and take some to help the cramps go away. Plus, there are also little sticky heating pads that you can use and put on before you leave the house to help with cramps. Also drink a lot of water. And try to take it easy. I know it may seem scary. But once you get used to it happening. It would just become annoying if anything. But you'll get used to it. Also, I suggest tampons because they really do help and make a difference, but ask your mom or guardian first. But tampon make a difference! They help a lot!
