its happened to me before! I have had a major crush on my best friend! and its probably the worst moment when you realize you're totattly crushing on your best friend. because they are your best friend you don't know what to do. do you tell them or do you stay quiet. and it sucks because they are your best friend your always with them. and when you realize you like them you start acting extra weird and doing thing you cant control.
if you're really serious about wanting to make your bff into your boo thang here are something you could do to warm them up into the idea
going on "dates". instead of jjst casually hanging out, make it more formal, and romantic, just the two of you.
take it slow. don't rush into the idea of being a couple. after all they are your best friend if you rush things they might get scred and leave.
start showing more affetions. kisses on the cheek, hold hands randomly. hug longer.
talk about who they are interested in what's their type(if ur bff/crush describes someone completely different then you, do not change for them. it may just not be the right time. or they just may not feel the same.)
if you are going to tell them. I wish for the best for you! but dont be destroyed it they shoot you down. but if they are your bff, make sure you're ready to tell them. it can make things awkward. but things only get awkward if you get awkward!
